Keep a bad job that will become a good job in 3 mos., or get a new one altogether?

Seriously, I agree, if I were him I'd quit tomorrow. What is this, no other option stuff? There is ALWAYS another option. I'd rather be poor than doing something horrible or dangerous.

Its alot different when you got a family to support who is depending on you yo. you aint got those type of options that you do as a single or non parent person.

Anyways, the job is only a few more weeks long. Every, every little bit counts yo, so he is just gonna get thru it til its done with and find somethin else. He IS allowed to refuse to do a job if he feels like its too dangerous, he just dont get paid for the drive he took out there or the time that he sits out while the other workers do it, but its gonna have to be ok for now.

IMHO I think your BF should keep his job cause It's got great benefits and its worth waiting for. Also the whole trying to find a new gig would be tough and might not work due to the recession and his record. I would stick with it due to the insurance benefits and that in 3 months things will improve.
