There's a storm in her body light
and lightning in her mind
the smile she weilds is wavering
a lie murdered by her eyes.
We were not meant for this
we're left here out of tune,
suffering till the sky falls
into the hell after the ruins.
She amputees herself to bear
the emotional weight of hers
so sure she's okay through convincing us
but body language speaks louder than words.
And she's screaming
and she's drowning
and I feel her frigid grow.
And she's glaring
out into nothing
a bomb ready to blow.
And I know her
and I adore her
but it so scares me what we are.
The dark behind
the lies in our mirrors
can only carry us so far.
