Misc JWH-018 use and long-term health concerns

I got into smoking herbal incense three years ago. I consumed an estimated 2-3 grams of JWH-018 through various blends. Some of the blends were: K2, Demon, Black Mamba, Kimchi, King Krypto, and Mr. Nice Guy. This lasted for about ten months, after which I quit completely.

I'm now extremely concerned about long term health consequences of my use, in particular cancer. Should I be worried about this? Have there been any updates on the carcinogenic potential of JWH-018?

JWH018 was shown to be non carcinogenic and non mutagenic in rats last I saw.

But, since it was banned shortly after its rise, many "incense products" don't contain JWH, but rather all sorts of analogues. Many of them aren't even standardized between different batches; it's just whatever was laying around sprayed onto herbs.

See the Synth Cannabinoid discussion in CD.

The big concerns I have sen are mental addiction/dependance, and in some blends that contain compounds like XLR-11, kidney damage.

Thanks sekio. But from what I have read, the studies done did not examine the combustible products of JWH-018. It is frustrating that no animal studies have been done. I have heard that JWH-018 is likely to be carcinogenic because of epoxide intermediaries. The anxiety about this is overwhelming. Did I consume enough product to worry about this?

The problem with incense is the lack of knowledge of what is in it. It's just random plant material that when ignited produces a smell.

Sure, it gets you high but so does huffing paint and air freshners.

Incense even has a fat warning label saying "not for human consuption."

I would strongly advise against using this stuff, there's just so much unknown info.

Edit:
Oh, just read that you quit the stuff. Kudos. :)
