Hello Everyone

I recently bought a .001 scale so I could accurately keep track of MDMA doses. However, I'm a little concerned with the volume of the dose I weighed out.

I weighed out .150g (150mg) but it was about the size of a quarter. This looked like waaay too much. In the past, I've either ate or snorted to taste so precise dosage was never an issue. Also, the goal was typically just to get a boost rather than a full-face roll. I'm planning on stuffing a few gelcaps with 100mg doses for easy transportation and administering (not distributing). I'm afraid even though the scale I purchased measures up to .001 precision, maybe it's not as accurate as they claim.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions with this? I'm trying to avoid harming myself with too large a dose.

Here is the scale

Thanks!

tl;dr: bought a scale, weighed out molly, amount of molly seemed too great to be 100mg

Get yourself some calibration weights that are exact weights and weigh them. If your scale can identify them accurately then your scales are working fine and your idea of what is 150mg and what actually is 150mg is off.

Just look up the weight of change (metal coins, US currency would be preferred) and use those, no need to buy weights

It could be that what you have is not MDMA at all, and a 150mg dose could be way too high. Reagent tests are very important. If it come out straight to black on the Marquis, take a 125mg dose, with another 50-75 no more than an hour later, if needed.

10 U.S. nickels comes to 50 grams (5 grams a piece) use 50 grams, as anything lower is not as good a weight for calibration.

but I'm trying to weigh with precision down to the tens of milligrams. A 50 gram calibration tells me nothing about the scale's accuracy at that low of a weight.

What else could it be where a 150mg would be too high? I think I get what you're saying: The large volume at 150mg may indicate it's not Molly therefore, be wary.

Yeah bro, a dollar usually weighs a gram, but u can lose some paper material easier than with coin. So Rock the nickle technique. If your scale shows you a single nickel at 5.000 then it's still a good measure of accuracy.

(ie if it weighed out to 5.345 you'd know it was off.)

I suppose coin can even be flawed as they can pick up dust, dirt, etc and or get scraped up

Try to use a newer, good condition and not sooted up nickel lol

Anyway, good luck!

Also, 50 coins guy, it's a 20g max scale that he posted, so 10 5 gram coins is a bad idea :P

Also, make sure it's in grams bro, u could have it on the wrong measurementsetting

Oh yeah totally a good weight for mdma. Oooops i didnt see the max weight so no , dont use the 50 grams for nickels-----YOU ALREADY HAVE CALIBRATION WEIGHTS---perfect, just check w/ a ten gram weight. it will prob fluctuate b/t .003-.005. easy to do just by breathing on it lightly. but i wldnt worry about that little amount. just make sure your set to grams and be good. 150mg mdma is a really small amount --especially in a "00" gel cap. looks like it wldnt do anything. But i do use nickels to check weight cali, i make sure they are all the same style -not a mix b/t the new or old.

Ryan what kind of a dose are you looking for though? A floored one or a nice dancing energetic one?

check to see how accurate your scales a

re by weighing coins and comparing them.

The kind of dose where your thoughts and emotions emanate from your mind into the conscious ether of the universe but still maintain the ability to elucidate my ideas and desires to even the stone-sober individual. Tall order, huh?

I've done it more than 8 times in the past year but the doses were never measured because I would just snort it in manageable bumps until I got to where I wanted to be. I'm thinking I should initially dose with a moderate-high amount since I've had so many frequent exposures. I've rolled hard 3-4 times on other occasions so I'm not too worried about being overwhelmed. As long as it's not a heroic dose, I think I can manage. What dose would you recommend?

I appreciate this but I have calibration weights. I was concerned about the volume of MDMA in what I believe to have weighed out as 150mg. Seemed like way too much MDMA to be only 150mg.

so if it's calibrated correctly and you weighed out 150mg, there is no problem.

and for that^ 150mg sounds about right.

a gram usually weighs up at 0.6-0.8

a quarter of 0.6 would be 0.15 (150mg)

did you weigh the actual 'gram'?

are you used to getting f'd in the a? I mean, cmon, a g always weighs 1.0, if you buy weed, it usually weighs more, unless your dealer is a punkass

THIS SO MUCH.

If my gram was even a point under, it would not be a gram, and I would go back and get the rest.

Thats just .... I dont even understand this... so your used to getting .6 for a gram? I mean... what?
