Ugh, flashbacks. I did something similar when I was younger and almost died. I certainly hope your friend made it to the hospital and is doing alright.
 
Putting ace in dxm pills doesn't prevent abuse but does make it deadly. Things like this is a great example.
 
I think you kind of need your stomach pumped asap. once it's through the tum, it's onto the liver and THAT's where you don't make it. I'm sure s/he's already gone, but if you haven't, HURRY.

to the OP - if you have survived and are reading this, please post you experience as detailed as possible. i think it would be good to hear to help teach others to BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT IS IN EVERY SINGLE PILL YOU USE.
 
Hope he got there fast... chances are if not much time elapsed between swallowing the pills & arriving at the hospital they'll pump his stomach, activated charcoal + antidote and he'll be OK. Seems the likely outcome, but it's not entirely clear how much time elapsed between taking the pills and posting the question here.

damn this shits crazy.....could his friend be charged with murder if he ends up dying?
i seriously hope he left right after his last post...gel caps release it pretty quickly

Salt water can induce vomiting. That is why it is not really good to drink sea water, unless . . . .

its bad to drink because it doesn't hydrate you! it does the opposite...at least thats what i thought

yup ,i was tought that back in the day when sailors would run out of fresh water that some eventually drank sea water and would die even quicker.

Well, yeah, drinking excessively salty water can be a little bit bad for you. Your body will recognize this pretty quickly and make you puke it up to get rid of it. Not really a major problem if you can drink some more (unsalted) water a little later. And a hell of a lot better than dying of liver failure from an accidental Tylenol overdose. I've seen folks die from as little as 4000 mg, too. If you've been asking your liver to detoxify a lot of stuff recently, especially alcohol, sometimes your liver no longer has the capacity to handle a huge quantity of acetaminophen.


OP, I hope that you got to the hospital ok and come out ok. I agree, it would be great if you can let people here know what happens to you in the hospital---it may help people understand just why you need to be careful with ANYTHING that might potentially contain acetaminophen.

Yea large amount of salt or baking soda in water will induce vomiting.

He didn't say how long had elapsed, but I would guess it was too late for inducing vomiting to do much good.
Its not a seconds to go thing, but I wouldn't play around.
 
Ive heard of alot of "kids" taking those tripple c pills. This 1 chick took like 30 and lived but tripped balls. How much tylenol to each of those have ?

Yeah, it's not like NASID's are effective at all. Godforbid a pharmaceutical company adds a adjuvant drug to the medication to make it more effective for a person USING IT PROPERLY.

Take some bloody responsibility for your actions.
