Made a thread a while ago about my negative effects from a huge IV Methylone binge. Was really worried as I felt awful for the next week afterwards and worried I'd never be back to normal. Luckily though, I am okay. I just got a lot of sleep, drank plenty of fluid, took some 5-HTP and other vitamins and made sure to eat plenty of fruit etc.

I was really stupid, and it was totally out of character for me. Usually I'm really sensible about new drugs (although I'd tried it before, never more than 1-2 doses at a time) and will read everything I can before even trying a small dose. I just kinda went a bit nuts this time, and am really lucky that I ended up okay.

However, I'm getting quite worried about a few friends of mine. A couple of mates and myself ordered in a large amount of bk-MDMA/Methylone .. Around 250g, and heaps of people I know (even ones who normally only smoke pot) are getting REALLY into it :/ Like taking it every day/every two days... It's starting to scare me a bit.

Anyone know how dangerous it can be when used for an extended period? I've read as much as I can find but it's mostly people just having a one-night binge on it, rather than an extended run. A few of my mates are okay, they only take 200mg or so orally once, then a 100mg top up later. But a few of them are IVing ~1-2g a day EVERY day... and they are ex opiate addicts, so obviously they are a predisposition to IV and euphoria chasing... What should I do? Anything I should say to them? Or do I just let them make their own mistakes?

i have seen this as well with methylone once it is IVed. it becomes HIGHLY addictive and pleasurable. the urge to redose is just as bad as cocaine. im glad you are doing better, as for your friends - being ex opie addicts they are already used to the rig and are going to have a hard time stopping.

Glad to hear that you are back to your normal self.... as for your friends, i believe it will be tough to convince them to slow it down as they already have a penchant for IV drugs. Im sure they will learn when their use catches up to them
