just started taking gabapentin (neurontin)

ok i had to go to the doc and he prescride these for me cause i have been on hydros for 3plus years and i have to like 10 of the 10 mg hydros just to get high and its started last less and less time well the doc gave me gabapentin (neurontin) and all i can say is wow i 1 300 mg and didnt feel nothing so me being a pillhead i thought wtf ill take 7 more i didnt take any hydro at all and bout an hour past i started feeling like tingling in my fingers and then i got a surge of energy and then i got like a really opiate like high i never got like sick or felt like i was gonna pass out or anything i just felt high in being relaxed calm and focused i mowed my yard came in sit down worked on a few instrumentals and the laid down and went to bed well here is the really awesome part i have been on hydrocodone 10 mg for 3 yrs i was addicted to em hard i have tried getting off of em a few times being scared id never be able to and id start haveing leg cramps arms drawing insomnia ramped i had the worse withdrawals ever in my life so i kept taking them but i started taking gabapentin (neurontin) about 2 1/2 weeks ago and have had not one craving for a lortab at all i have not had any withdrawals and been feeling really good who ever says these dont work im sorry but for some they will i am now determend to stay off tabs i just thought id share my story cause i love BL

hey, if it gets you off an opiate habit, good on ya, take as much gabapentin as you want for a week or two... but don't over-do it in the long term, that stuff can have nasty withdrawals too...

Gabapentin never gave me any WDs, just built tolerance faster than any other drug I've had.

Less is more with gabapentin. Literally. Bioavailability decreases the higher the dose.

You switched your hydros for a drug 500000 times more addicting, have fun trying to get off neurontin later.

Now neurontin isn't addicting to everyone, but if you are unlucky, and have problems getting off opiates, I can GUARANTEE that the neurontin will be a million times worse.

I know because I did the same thing and have suffered immensely for 14 months because of it. Just stop immediately.

I've been on gabapentin and lyrica and whilel lyrica has way better bioavailability-and in my opinion, even though most people say they're basically the same psychologically I find lyrica to be a tad bit more euphoric. But what I was trying to say is that both are crappy for recreational use in my opinion-expecially gabapentin. If anything mix it with alcohol. Alone it doesn't do much.
