Just started Ritalin- question(s)

My dr just prescribed me ritalin because I seem to be a night owl and want to sleep during the day. However, when I swallow it, it seriously does nothing to me. But when I snort it, I feel awake. I only snort 5mg in increments.... kind of like coke.....I am 5'4" and about 110 lbs. What is my limit????? I am also on oxy 5 mg for fibromyalgia and 1mg of klonopin for panic attacks..... Just wondering how these drugs mix together. Also, I still need something to keep my awake during the day without snorting since I have 2 kids and would never want them to walk in on something like that. But I don't have insurance and adderall is SUPER expensive. what should I do here????

im gonna go ahead and say its the two downers you take that are negating the Ritalin. Talk to your Dr. about upping your dosage.

adderal i never used, but i have no doubht that its more , much more speedy than ritalin

Ritalin is a lot more iffy than adderall, but i like it more.

Its got more of a speed high than a euphoria high.. and like crank and coke it will have some adverse side affects.

I like Ritalin . . . then again, I'm a recreational user. Just sounds to me like the Ritalin doesn't agree with you at all and you need to stick with the Adderall. Too much Ritalin makes me sick if I haven't eaten before it. I try to take it about an hour or so after I eat a little something. But that's just me. Good luck!

I prefer methylphenidate as well. Try snorting it. Much better bioavailability. It is mild but noticeable when snorted I find.



Just try to not binge on it or it won't work because tolerance will go up. Taking breaks helps for a while.

don´t know men, but only the name "Amphetamine" sounds me like a powerfull thing, but as i said i never tried it, i wish i could,maybe some good samaritan write me a letter whith a pill or two of it ..rrsrs..i´m kidding
