Opioids Just started Klonopin's. Can I still take my Norco's?

I take .5mg(K-Pins) in the morning usually around 11am. I take norco @ night around 11pm. I usually take 45-50mg.(norco) This safe?

Short answer: Most likely.

Long answer: Anytime you mix opiates and benzos, there is a risk of respiratory depression. Though your dose of klonopin is on the lower side, so I think this combination shouldn't be significantly dangerous. Spacing it out definitely helps, but it might be a good idea to dose reduce the norco at first to get a feel for how much it effects you.

Yes, just take them both as directed by your doctor. I currently take an opiate and klonopin each day and I'm fine. Just like with anything else, don't overdue it as in abuse it and you should be fine. Forwarning though, if and when you might ever run out of your meds, the withdrawal is going to be literal hell.

Thanks for the answers ya'll. One more question. The norco makes me sleep like shit and have trouble getting to sleep, would a 10mg ambien be ok with that much norco?

Try to avoid 3 CNS depressants, clonazepam has a very long half life, and add hydrocodone, then plus zolpidem, it could lead to problems.

I would try to avoid dosing your norcos too close to bedtime.
