just some poem no one will understand

you drew me deep
into obsession
into passion
this confession
the dark sky
opens up my soul
on a cloud nine my
dreams came true
with you not here
no longer float
i, all alone where
have you gone
the deep blue
of your depth
hunts me in eternity
yearning for safety
time is a struggle
struggle takes time
to overcome to
put out the fire
to be ready to carve
out the path out
of this struggle
oh only to overcome
and feel the grains
of life slip through my
fingers and make me feel
alive, alive again
to dream of a stranger
i must be insane
yet i dream
of being with the one
who doesn't know
but helps me stand bravely
i face the wind
i fear nothing

my first impression is that was about love and moving on.
and how the new person you find might seem unfamiliar. and how moving on seems unfathonamable sometimes.
if i missed the point, it was still beautiful.

Banquo- my first impression was relativly the same. who knows if we're right.
but i'm sure most people will agree with me that in most writing, although there is almost always a true hidden meaning.. once a writer exposes his/her work to the world it takes on a life of it's own and is open to what ever impressions or meanings a reader chooses to see inside of it..

You say no one will understand. It's true that without exact details we can't know the WHOLE story. But for me, it certainly painted the story of a relationship. I liked this poem a lot.

that was such a nice poem. i must agree with everyone elses responses. the impress that i got was that of a love. maybe a friend? but either way it was beautifully written. we all understand in our own little ways

First thank you all for taking the time to comment. A little explanation in response couldn't hurt could it? hmmmm...well this is about someone I truly loved and that a sad little part of me still loves, but it is also about someone else in my life right now. In the end my past and my present helps me stand strong. I was really down when I wrote that. Anywayz much love to all BL's.
