Just prescribed a fairly new drug called Nucynta 100mg C11

It is being filled now and is gonna cost me like NO PRICES, i have tried to find out if anyone has had any luck with this medicine but most of the responses i read are from freaking people already on Oxycontin/Fent/Methadone and wonder why it doesn't work for them.


Does anyone find this drug to work good for pain?

Very limited recreational potential, unless you like deleriants that is. Similar in analgesic effects to morphine, or so they say.
 
The drug you've been prescribed is tapentadol, and its method of action is similar to tramadol (Ultram).

This is a pretty new drug that's supposed to have all the pain-killing properties of the more traditional opiates with less side effects.

I'm assuming by "C11" you mean "C-II", which stands for Schedule II. It is indeed DEA Schedule II in the United States.
 
It's pain killing effect is closer to hydrocodone/oxycodone. This is what is stated about it:

While its action reflects aspects of tramadol and morphine its ability to kill pain is more on the order of hydrocodone and oxycodone, so not as weak as tramadol but not as strong as morphine.

ive taken it- you can possibly compare it to hydrocodone, with something fucked up thrown into the mix. with doses taking 2-3 at a time (100-150mg), there is a noticeable opiate buzz (very subtle), but it comes along with another strange buzz, somewhat like x i wanna say... with high doses, you can hallucinate off nucy's which i DONT recommend, because the visuals are very very vivid and realistic looking, like youll see sombody standing in the street, walkin around, and right when a car comes flyin up to the dumbass, he will vanish. its very strange, but for ME (i cant speak for anybody else, drugs effect people differently), i did notice a nice buzz around 100-150 (maybe 200 if you have a good tolerance to opies).

if your into pain killers, keep some nucys around for when your out of product (or your DOC), because nucy's will def keep you from getting sick.. you do get a pretty nice buzz when mixed with other opies too, to me it was a very strong (or fairly strong) way to potentate other opiates. take 20mg of hydro (if you usually take 30-40), with a nucy and tell me that isnt good.. i find it very relaxing and mild buzz- great to potentate other opies.

but if i were you, i would take 2 (if they are 50mg), and see where it puts you. i wouldnt go over taking 4 (200mg). I wouldnt take them very quickly- SAVE THEM for when your out of your other opiates! you will be glad you did. or save them to potentate your other opiates you enjoy taking. (i took 1 nucy with a 30mg oxy, and it had me nodding out pretty good)

**** Just so we are clear, this drug is no where NEAR as effective as oxycodone/hydrocodone/etc... It is although, a pretty good way to potentate other opiates, or to keep you from getting sick. its not really recreational.

Wait it out, and next time look at the milligram dosage instead of the number of pills people reccomend you should take.

It's the norepinephrine reputake inhibition (particularly the fear aspect). Just try to chill and you'll get through it... take a small dose of benzos if you have any around.

Follow the instructions of the prescribing medical professional. If the dosage they prescribed you are too high, contact them and let them know.
 
Ugh, I hate reading threads like these. If this trend continues there will come a day (very soon) when pure opiates and their analogues go the way of barbiturates, and these "safer, less abusable" drugs will be the only thing prescribed.
 
Yeah it's finally wearing off, the first hour and a half was real uncomfortable and actually caused a bad trip feeling that was pretty intense with visuals, followed by a relaxing sedation with a warm feeling ( kind of like a speedy drunk feeling) at 200mg.

The best way i can describe this drug is a beefed up version of Tramadol with a hint of Hydrocodone.

What a waste of money though, the stuff is highly expensive

I know a bloke who IV'd these, said he quite enjoyed the speedy aspect of it... spose you've gotta be prepared for it though

It is a painkiller, so it wasn't designed to be recreational. I find it good for analgesia, but the side effects are just much different from oxycodone or more typical opiates like dilaudid or oxymorphone. It has a "speedy" side to it because of the SNRI activity, but that also makes it good for analgesia, specifically in cases of neuropathic pain.
Anyways, everyone needs to calm down, it isn't "good or "bad", it's different from traditional opiates.

lol wow, im calling bullshit- but you had everyone else fall for it... some times i really wonder about the people on here... there is no way you had a full trip off 2 nucys.. ive taken over 3 and had no trip, you need more than 2 to have a trip..

First off, I don't do drugs anymore.

Secondly, "the real stuff" is subjective. I get as high from trams as anyone else does on dope. It's not like I haven't done more than my fair share of oxycodone, morphine, heroin, hydrocodone, fentanyl, etc. and so on.

Third, have fun with your "real stuff", I hope you end up as hopeless and miserable as possible.
