I'm FROM Alabama, and just like many stories, I met a girl, and moved right outside of Houston Texas with her. I am only prescribed 135 oxycodone 30mg IR. Back home, I payed $77.00 without using my insurance. Here, after getting my prescription I went to many CVS, and Walgreens, all who told me they either did not carry my medication or were out of stock, and when they did have them in stock they were sold out very fast. I ended up paying 540.00 for my medicine from some shady pharmacy that said that insurance didn't cover that medicine, and when I told them mine did they kept pushing me to not bother trying, so i just didn't out of fear of being turned away yet again. So for the past 2 hours I've been looking up surrounding cities and taking down phone #'s to pharmacies.

I have legitimate pain guys, and I don't know what to do.

IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? I don't care if I have to drive 3 hours out of the way if I can simply get my medicine and use my insurance! I'm so upset, and am like I said in my title, am in tears over this. I don't even mind if I have to turn my prescription in, and wait until they are in stock to pick them up. I just don't understand, and no one seems to want to help me out here.

No sourcing or pricing . Getting script filled online is out of question too, unless business is based in TX. They're gonna close your thread, so I wish you luck.

I haven't been on BL that long, but I don't see in this case asking "where to get a script filled" would be sourcing. Cryptox has the script, but all of the pharmacies he went to are out. All he's asking is for a pharmacy in his area that carries his script and not charging 7 x's the cost.

About 2 1/2 years ago Oxycodone was short and I almost didn't get my script filled. I found a small mom-pop pharmacy that had them. They didn't take insurance, so I had to pay up front and get reimbursed from ins. (But it wasn't overcharging 7x's the price like where, Cryptox finally got his filled.) At that time it would've been nice if I could've asked on-line for a lead that might have them in stock. Just last month where I usually get the Oxy filled they were out from a delivery delay. I was able to get it filled at another one of their chain's stores.

Cryptox, how about talking with the head of the pharmacy you go to and ask them to order extra each month for your standing script. My mother had a standing script for Fentanyl patches that the pharmacy ordered each month for her. Maybe have them contact your doctor to see if it will be a month in and month out script.

This seems like a legitimate question, not sourcing.

Perhaps you could mention this to your doctor and he/she may be willing to write you a script for something that pharmacies do carry? I hope this suggestion isn't considered doctor shopping or anything, but I know how you feel (to a lesser extent.) A friend of mine is prescribed adderall, and all the pharmacies in the entire city of Austin ran out of 20mg IR adderall; however they did have XR in stock. My friend talked to his doctor and explained the situation, and the doc decided to write him a few months of XR prescription until the IR was back in stock.

But I doubt you would want to switch from 30mg IR to that new OP shit formula, so perhaps my suggestion doesn't help.
