Just moved back to Boston (Newton) - dope scene is dead?

Wondering what's going on with my hometown, most of my friends move away or died and when I want out to Mass Ave by the clinics it seemed like no one would talk to me.

Did the entire city of Boston stop using or was there some sort of massive crack down?

Dope in general is dying in Mass. as far as I can tell. 10 years ago when I was in High School, nobody knew what Fentanyl even was. It was something you were given in the hospital. Now everyone sells Fent/Cut, from the Dominicans in Lawrence to the white kids in Newton.
