but i had trouble getting the amp open. Everything seems ok but its a little sore where i shot up. Is it possible that glass could have gotten in the rig. Its not really painful just kinda sore. Also had to use same spot 3 times today because inside my elbow is only place i can register. I am new to IVing. it doesn't look any different than any other times just its sore, and that would be fucked up if glass from ampule got in the rig. I used a 25g to get it out of amp and a 30g to shoot. The break wasn't clean would it be possible for glass to get through a 30g needle.
 
It's possible, glass can break into very small pieces.

I'm not sure of the possible health risks of glass breaking into the rig and being injected into your body, but I imagine they're not good.

Hopefully somebody with some more IV experience can chime in. As always, if in doubt, see medical attention from a medical professional.
 
na i did use one, still broke fucked up, but im thinking its just sore from multiple uses. Its only sore at point of injection

I don't like 30 gauge needles for IV use; I feel that they cause more hit nerves, for instance, which is why your sites might be sore.

Another reason is that you could have missed one or two units per 1mL and not even really notice it, because with still 98% of the shot IV'd successfully, you will still rush hard (if you were going to in the first place, that is).
 
yeah its starting to actually feel better, but I'm still paranoid about the glass issue. It would have to be a pretty small piece of glass to get through a 30g, I'm really hoping that's not what happened. i guess ill have to go to ER if it doesnt feel better in a few days.
 
^That's the best plan, it is always best to err on the safe side and we have no real way of telling you one way or the other.

Now i am thinking i just missed some of the shot and its in my muscle. I guess its time to find out if this is actually medical grade. See if i get an abscess or not. I hate IV no more for me, and I am so glad i didn't IM this like I was planning on.
 
Amps are meant to snap off clean man, they take these things into consideration when it's made.
A 27 gauge would have been better really.

p.s is anybody else noticing a weird look on bluelight right now? Like its turned into a windows 94 look or something?

Hey Bnghit. Was it the red amps? If so the best way to do it it brake the amp and pour into a spoon and filter the morph. It isnt the cleanist considering were its comin from snip. Ive had those before not from the same person but from same origin and my thoughts is it still needs filtering even though it comes in the amps. There not medical grade amps and its not medical grade morph. Hope that helps.

I agree with captain heroin, sometimes you may be missing a tiny portion (mere units) and not even notice the pain especially if you've gotten used to the way that pain feels.

Glass in your shot no bueno

as always use fresh syringes every use if you can

also, if your new to i'ving but can only hit in your elbow (due to inability i presume) then you should look over some material on safer injection so that you can hit in a vein that you can see atleast (for one thing) and help you get a better idea of whats going on with your body
 
Its not medical grade guys and he isnt even filtering it. Doesnt anyone think that should be the starting point.
 
Yeah that was simply the problem dirty morphine not filtered and i must have missed some of the shot. Pain is pretty much gone, was just sore a couple days. I learned that just because its in an ampule it doesn't mean its medical grade. Also probably not good to use the same spot 3 times in a row on same day. Pretty sure my arms going to be fine tho, but i'm lucky i didn't do damage
