Just got Lunesta prescription...expensive..any savings?

so my doctor just wrote me a script for 30 2mg lunesta pills for sleep and i went to go pick t up and the price was no prices because that is too much for 30 sleeping pills when i get ambiens forno prices them no asking for discount vouchers for prescription drugs

That's unfortunate that your prescription is so expensive. I'm not sure if there are any cards specific to lunesta, you should try calling the pharmaceutical company who makes them and see if they can assist in paying for your prescription. Did you doctor write for brand name or something? Or is there no generic of lunesta yet.. If it is too expensive, you should simply call up your doctor and explain that it is too expensive and see if he will switch you to something cheaper like ambien, or restoril or something.

Its really because there i no generic yet, you have to pay for the name brand.....ambien has generics so is much cheaper. But for me ambien did nothing, whereas lunesta worked very well for me. You could also try medications like trazodone or mirtazapine, they are very effective for sleep and are also really cheap, but might make you feel groggy the next day until you get a little use to them.
