Should I contact this guy or not?

I am a Food & Drug Administration investigator and am contacting you by email to arrange a meeting with you. I regret not having your phone number to contact you directly for arranging such the meeting. I assure you I need but a few moments of your time to answer a few simple questions.

The purpose of my meeting with you is to gather information regarding a product recall by www.bodybuilding.com. Your name and address is included on the firm's customer list provided to FDA for purposes of the recall.

My office is in downtown Wilmington, DE and I am happy to meet with you where ever it is convenient for you. I am to conclude my interview by close of business 2/11/10. My apologies for this short notice!

You may respond to this email or call me to arrange a meeting at 302-573-6447, Ext. 108

Thank you for a timely response!

Do not volunteer any info. Why would you want to help them make a case against a supplement vendor?

I doubt the FDA would contact you by e-mail.

If they don't have your phone number, they'd come to the door. Ignore it.

Uh. Why wouldn't they contact him via e-mail? He was on a vendor's customer lists. Who says he even uses his real name and address when he orders shit online? But apparently the e-mail address on file was one he still checks...

^ Well, it'll be the first time I've ever heard of a government agency contacting somebody via e-mail for an investigation. It's hardly the most reliable way of contacting somebody, considering it could go straight into their junk folder or simply be overlooked.

^Not quite sure about that but I wouldn't put anything past them lazy gubment fuckers.

I do, however, like the alleged investigator's last name Kopp :)

bro don't lose a wink of sleep - back in the day a research chem lab got raided cuz they were making GHB on the side - I had those boys in suits show up at my door asking about products I had got (nolva/clen), they asked to see the products I asked for a warrant and they left. End of story.

Yeah if anything was going to happen to you, they would have made a move already. They more than likely just want to get information on something that the site sells to see if they can find anyone that has had any medical problems as a result of taking whatever product they are targetting. I wouldnt even answer the e-mail if I were you. They can almost always find at least one stupid ass who didnt listen to any advice, didnt learn what he/she was taking, and didnt take any precautions whatsover, therefore ending up in the hospital with liver failure or something. They use these types of people to build cases against the supp companies.
You, on the other hand, should have nothing to worry about

word..not worried about anything..plus i never ordered any prohormones from bb.com...the most "hardcore" product i ever ordered from them was novedex xt

do you mess w/research chems or anything like PA ? I can't imagine why they would bother w/bb.com - but it might be away to try to get at anything from a research chem that has gone south and sold it's customers out - or (I'm not sure how or what you order) maybe a few to many letters from china ? Either way, when my friend got busted for purchasing gear online, it was a fed sweep and believe me they didn't give him an email, a phone call, or a ring of the door bell - just straight in and got him.

because bb.com got raided in january..apparently people on bb.com forums are saying people from the fda are showing up at their work!!!

damn - what a mess. a) you don't know if you are even getting what the label says - b) fuck off and deal with real problems, not PH / steroids.

if we are on any budget at all for this whole "war on drugs" - spending it like this makes me sick. Sorry to hear you had to deal w/the bullshit PA, like I said - i've been thru similar with RC company.
