Opioids Just got a bunch of 40mg Opana's and have a tolerance question?

Hi, I have a pretty decent tolerance when it comes to opiates. I've been on 10/325 Norco's for 2 years now and get Tussionex when ever I'm sick. With the Norco's I can easily take 200mgs but usually take anywhere from 80mgs-120mgs, with the Tussionex sense it is time release and doesn't hit you like a ton of bricks, I usually take 3 oz. at a time which is equal to 180mgs. Anyway I just wanted everyone to know what my tolerance is at right now. I just came into a bunch of 40mg Opana's ER's and wanted to know with my tolerance levels at what there at with Hydrocodone what would be a good starting point for me to take as far as the Opana's go? 40mg-60mg-80mg...etc. Any help would be appreciated.

10mg of oxymorphone is equivalent to about 25-30 mg of hyrdocodone So.. Math would tell me to tell you to do about 60 to 70 mg but EXPERIENCE with botth drugs and every other opiate would tell me to tell you that opana is a strong ass opiate, If your thinking oral, you can go ahead and throw that out the reason they have so much on one pill is because the oral bioavility is so low, Nasal is around 50% or something close to that my advice is if you really wanna throw the towel in snort a whole one, But I would snort half wait 20 minutes, if your not satisified snort another half, and so on, dont underestimate its power.. ! You can always add but never subtract dosage,

Thanks for the help. I usually never snort my pills and I don't bang them ever, so I'll be taking them orally. I heard from just about everyone that there really strong, so I didn't want to take to much. I'll probably start by taking one 40mg pill and wait for a while to see how I feel. If it's not enough I can always take another one or half of one. Thanks again for the info, I appreciate it.

If you do some research, you can find your answer. Anyway, Opana is between 4 & 5 times stronger than oxycodone. Imo, you snort an Opana 40mg, you will overdose. Opana isnt too strong if you just orally pop them but if you snort them, look out, very strong!

If I were you, I would cut the 40mg Opana into 4 pieces & then take one quarter orally to see where you are at.

I took one orally a little over an hour ago and it's just right. Thank you for the info, if I decide to rail them I'll start a quarter at a time and go from there.
