Sorry I made a mistake in calculations there, I only actually dosed about 210mg and the ROA was Orally of course. I don't even like snorting Oxycodone anymore, unless I had pure Oxycodone powder.

My favourite Opioid is Hydromorphone still. (Actually I find Hydromorphone to be better than a lot of Heroin I've tried in the past, but who knows.)

I just drank a shitload of Pure White Grapefruit Juice, before and after I dosed my Oxy with 75mg Diphenhydramine. These are the Green CDN Purdue Pharma OxyContin so there is no need to worry about messing around with them. I always chew my Oxy's now (unless they are Oxy-IR then of course I just swallow them, since the B/A is still quite a bit higher. Sure it takes longer to kick in, but still.

I would also rather have a HydroMorphContin 30mg capsule, instead of an OxyContin 80, because I get a better buzz from the Hydromorph. (Actually I'd rather have 2 HM-Contin 12mgs than an Oxy 80 but thats just me). Many people would disagree. But keep in mind I always dose my Hydromorphone nasally.

But 250mg of Oxy should have me feeling alright I guess? I'm trying to get off opiates and the last couple days have been like an opiate binge for me. Think I am going to go detox in my Grandma's basement with a bunch of Clonidine & Valium.

Anyway, lets move on. Question here is, does White GFJ help potentiate at all? Or did I just waste drinking a whole bunch?

I believe the best answer science can give you at the moment is "probably". Grapefruit juice is regarded as a fairly strong inhibitor of CYP3A4. One metabolic pathway of oxycodone is N-demethylation by CYP3A4 to noroxycodone, which is nearly inactive. GFJ should reduce the amount of oxycodone converted to noroxycodone, resulting in a longer duration of effects and possibly also stronger effects.

Another metabolic pathway of oxycodone is O-demethylation by CYP2D6 to oxymorphone, which is highly active. However, GFJ does not significantly affect CYP2D6 and should not alter the degree of conversion of oxycodone into oxymorphone.

Additionally, GFJ is believed to inhibit intestinal P-glycoprotein, but the evidence is not entirely convincing. Inhibition of P-glycoprotein would lead to greater absorption of oxycodone from the GI tract. Since oxycodone has high oral bioavailability in the first place, I believe the effect of GFJ on its absorption would be minimal, at best.

Although the influence of GFJ on various CYP enzymes has been studied and documented, I'm not aware of any studies on its effects on the metabolism of oxycodone specifically. I suggest you run a search.

The best answer I can give you is if you need to potentiate 210mg then you really need to cut back on your narcotics. Taper down and reduce your tolerance. I found myself doing 180 split 100 in the afternoon, 80 in the evening, and I was like "wtf, I'm turning into a junkie!" Was a big wakeup call to cut back. Now it's 40-60mg a day.

It will potentiate it, yes. Highhooked is correct. However, there is a pretty wide margin of variability between brands and batches of GFJ.

Take a look at the conversion chart, oxycodone is better more bioavailable orally than hydromorphone is. I recommend taking a look at The Ultimate Opiate Potentiation Thread for more information. We don't allow "live" reports on here, or threads like "is what I just took safe?". Please read the BLUA and BDD guidelines. Thank you.
