You have two blotters of Acid. Fairly Potent about 80ug each. You've only done one other drug, Marijuana, and only once at that. You plan to drop at 11 on a school night, and you spend the trip in your room, what do you do? You have music, games, blankets, movies, a fort and internet access, and you spend the other half outside on your trampoline stargazing. All alone.

Good Trip or not?
 
This is a terrible idea. You will still be tripping (albeit probably only mildly) by the time you have to go to school. The rest of it sounds fine if you've researched the drug and its effects, but most first-time users would probably be more comfortable in a group setting. You should only take psychedelics when you have plenty of time for the duration of the drug and I would even recommend having a day afterwards to integrate the experience into normal life.
 
ive tripped plenty of times alone at home and had great and not so great times

id drop at 9pm, having eaten fruit/veg throughout the day (not on a school night [i dont like trying to function on psychs]),

turn the lights off in your room, while your coming up make a playlist of songs you like when your high

being outside on the trampoline would be fun as well though you could get cold, playing around in a blanket fort sounds like a great idea, movies and internet could be confusing depending on how strong it is for you

usually i dont need to set myself things to do while i trip i just do what feels right

also i suggest you turn your phone off and put it away somewhere, perhaps only do 1 tab at first you could have a strong reaction to acid and weed is great while tripping as well

and go into this with utmost respect for lsd and keep reminding yourself that you are going into this experience to learn more about yourself on this substance/ not for an egotistical high, GOODLUCK!
 
80ugs is a pissweak dose, I wouldn't consider anything less than 250 to be "strong".

It depends on how you feel about tripping alone. I've had some great times.

Also smoke + light machine can be amazing. I have a cheap $30 one I bought from spencers gifts. Burn some incense and point it at the smoke makes for a good time.
 
11 on a school night? Most likely you'll still be tripping until midday the next day, with no experience to help you bluff sobriety with your classmates and teachers. After that you'll be hung over, and completely exhausted until you can finally get home and collapse into bed - unless you're like me, in which case you simply won't be able to sleep no matter how tired you are. I don't recommend this.

This is a good point. Do you have classes the next day? You should expect to be wide awake for atleast 7 hours. You may not be able to eat while tripping which can leave you feeling pretty drained afterwards. Besides that there won't be too much of a hangover, but you'll definitely feel tired.
 
Horrible idea. By yourself with no drug experience at all, you are going to freak out. You will still be tripping on no sleep by the time you have to go to school and your trip will be generally miserable alone with no experience. Also, 80uG is a small dose.
 
I have never known the size of the dose of LSD I have ever taken (guess I don't have such a "trusted source" haha, though I often doubt most sources actually know... rather just make some number up, though that is just me), so I cant comment on that aspect of your question.

As far as your plan goes, I would suggest waiting until a time when you have no responsibilities the next day. Otherwise It sounds like a righteous plan.

I know others have suggested a group setting or at least having a sitter but I for one can be self conscience even around good friends when Im high. Almost every time I have tried a new substance I have been alone, mined you I started low.

Though for the sake or harm reduction perhaps it would be advisable to have a good friend who is experienced with such things around the house, though not necessarily right beside you, just incase you need some grounding...

If you're the introverted sort you won't have a problem doing acid alone in your room. But save it for the weekend - acid leaves you pretty drained the next day.No use being a psychedelic casualty at school!
 
Sounds risky because you have school the next day. You are not leaving enough time for you to come down and come back into your normal state of mind. If I were you I would do it on a weekend where you have a few days to relax after your trip. The other stuff is a fine idea. If you have a good trip anything you do can be amazingly amazing.

Solo trips aren't all horrible. I was alone for a lot of my first experiences. I did use weed for about 1 year though. It depends how comfortable you will be wherever you are tripping. Having to act normal around other people can lead to a bad time. Make sure you don't have to get ready for class the next day when you do it. Tripping can lead to thoughts like "I will never come down" and thinking about having to go to class may stress you out.

I think it would probably be a good idea to get comfortable with being high. Smoke a lot of weed by yourself and see how that goes. With no tolerance it can be very trippy.

80ug is a low dose. Don't expect to have any breakthroughs or major visuals.
 
80 mcg is not a fairly large dose... Also I bet I know where you got it from :P

Anyways to say the least the trip is what you make of it.... No one can tell you what environment is right for you as only you know you. To say the least it may be a good idea to start indoors although in a setting where if you feel like it you can go out at night.

Trip sitter is a MUST since it is your first trip and you never know how you will react to psychedelics. Find someone you know and trust that you can find comfort in. Being able to hold conversations is a plus as you probably will want to converse life.

Be prepared for a long trip (6-12 hours IF it is LSD). IMO you can trip however you want to trip and as long as you appreciate the lessons you learn on your adventure it is enjoyable. Personally I have spent many nights tripping playing video games by myself and with friends ending with an enjoyable night. Still it could also turn out bad if you just get bored with your environment. Just trying to give you some ideas on what could happen, but really it is impossible to tell you what will happen and you will just need to take the experience as it comes.

As people said doing it the night before school may be difficult as it may put a lot of stress on the trip if you start to think about the next day during the experience and how it can all go wrong. Do it on a Friday or Saturday night so you can rest. Saturday would be the best bet as you can rest beforehand and take the next day to rest.

Just remember to be positive and show this compound respect and it will treat you the same with an experience that you can appreciate during the rest of your life. Don't expect super visuals and more of a mind fuck, but do not be surprised if you get visuals to the extreme as EVERYONE is different + there is the possibility that it is a different compound although I highly doubt it.

Am I missing something or where did the OP say that 80ug is a strong dose? All he said was that he had two "fairly potent" blotters which were around ~80ug each. Not quite sure what he meant by fairly potent, but assuming he was planning on taking both hits, 160ug would be a pretty typical first time dose, in my opinion.
 
I can't imagine watching a movie while on acid. I wouldn't have the attention span necessary. Plus the whole forgetting you exist thing.
