Just curious... How much is the most alcohol you have consumed in one sitting???

On my 21st birthday I was in college and probably had about 6-8 standard drinks at the party. My friend and i leave to go to a local chain restaurant that doubled as a bar. We get there, in separate cars (dont lecture me i was an alcoholic and never drive like that anymore period) So we get there i get out walk to his car he pops the door open and pukes everywhere saying he cant go in and hes done for the night... it was about 11:30pm at this point. It should be noted that he funneled some liquor as a dare before we left... like right before. I go to a local tiny pub by my apartment, i mean a small pub where its just me and this other couple and the bar tender. So i order 1 bud light and start talking to the couple, upon finding out it is my 21st birthday they order a bunch of strange drinks one being "liquid cocaine" i just remember that one distinctly.

So some time passes and i have probably consumed another 4-5 drinks by the time i prepare to leave. The bar tender asks "where do you live because i can not let you leave in this state" i literally lived 300ft down the road, take a right and my parking lot was the first one the right. I explain this and he goes "oh those town houses over there, look i will let you leave if they follow you up until you take the right to go into the apartment complex. So thats what we did as it was last call and they were closing at this point. I get to my parking lot... fail to hit the breaks and bang my car against the parking spot stopper, not bad but i never do that and have not since. I get out laughing, my neighbor comments as he happens to be outside smoking a cig. I remember i passed out on my couch and was so hungover, this was sunday mind you, that i didnt do my lab report for my chem lab. The professor gave me an extension saying "this behavior is not like me at all and if i say i was too sick to do chemistry i must have been sick"

All and all a positive experience.
 
My dicksizing is better than your dicksizing.

But srsly: used to drink ~500ml vodka more days than not and at that point it's pretty difficult to remember where your own dick is let alone keep count for competition purposes.
 
Around 15 shots of vodka over 45 minutes when I was a teenager. 8( It's what gave me a major aversion to getting too drunk and to being hungover. Ever since then, I only get massively drunk once or twice a year, if that.
 
I've drank a fifth here and there, these days I'll have 3 or 4 beers a few times a year. Alcohol is a dirty, dirty drug not into it anymore. Wish they served GHB at bars instead.

The stupidest amount I've drank quickly is... A couple stories.

One time I drank an 8oz of Robitussin max cough (I don't think they even make these anymore) followed by chugging a pint of vodka at once (one sip) woke up in a psych ward.

Another time I drank 2 40oz evil eye (12% alcohol malt liquor) in under 2 minutes (it was a bet) and woke up in a mind boggling bad situation.

Was drinking styrophome cups of 151. Went for a walk in a T-shirt, middle of winter, 5 degree Fahrenheit out got pnemonia.

Got a million stories, alcohol makes me want to break da law.
 
It wasn't one sitting, but it was one day. Not quite sure, but probably around a liter of vodka. When I was taken to the emergency room my BAC was .55. They tested me several different ways because they couldn't believe it was correct until the blood test finally confirmed it. The doctor couldn't believe I was actually conscious and communicating (kinda) with him. All I could say to him in my semi-delirium was "I think I've been drunker." He turned and left the room with a disgusted look on his face. He had me handcuffed to a gurney. No benzos to help with withdrawals, nothing. Because I guess he thought I deserved to be punished. Asshole.
 
^That's not only a judgemental position to take on your binge drinking problem/alcoholism, but also massively dangerous whether you were currently physically addicted to alcohol or not.

The rebound effect ("comedown") from positive GABAergic modulators can cause cause neurotoxicity, through increased excitability of the glutamate system.

Stigma from the medical community regarding my medical cannabis use and iatrogenic physical benzo dependence a few years ago has, for better or worse, led me to withhold any sort of cannabis/psychedelic usage from them, the only "illegal" drugs I use. It also led me into the land of unprescribed benzo usage (albiet responsible usage, as I used them responsibly according to the Rx for 5 years, never once abusing them and usually taking less than I was scripted).

It feels like a lifetime ago now but back in 2008 when I was in high school drinking eveynight I had a buddy bet me I couldn't drain a whole liter of early times so I did just to spite his ass. I didn't puke which frankly surprised the hell out of me but it did get me so drunk I passed out for 2 hours, I woke up and began drinking once again. Damn I miss those days.
 
I was at this certain (illegal) bar in Bolivia where they literally serve grams of coke along with your drinks of choice. I ended up drinking 750ml of tequila over 3-4 hours. Along with an 8ball of VERY strong blow. I had a pretty heavy tolerance to North American coke but this shit had me to the point where my normally blue iris was almost completely black and would not react to light. Fuck I miss Boliva.

Was that bar called "The Heart Attack"? :D Or maybe since it was both illegal and "underground," the cocamezzanine (cocaethylene + mezzanine)? They would indirectly serve cocaethylene which is particularly cardiotoxic relative to cocaine and alcohol taken alone. Did you ever feel any heart flutters mixing that much coke and booze?

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to cocaine, as I've never tried it. This is why DC is interesting to me, we're able to take a look inside the happenings of the lives of our BL'ers over time, and share our experiences so others can learn from us and hopefully not go through the same mistakes.

I don't really have a particularly high opinion of cocaine but IMO cocaine + booze (either very cold cheap beer, or chilled liquor, preferably vodka) is a very enjoyable combo

I'm jealous of that Bolivian scale you were snorting :p
 
I once almost killed a 750 ml bottle of everclear, by the time I got to the ER and had my blood tested it was at .39 BAC. I detoxed in the psych ward with the aid of Librium. It was awful.
 
I don't know exactly how much I drank to get to this point, but I ended up in the hospital with a possible stroke beginning to happen - my entire left side of my body went limp, including the muscles in my face. I had about 5 doctors all around me at one point (the memory is all foggy). My BAC was 0.38! Very close to death. Happened in Las Vegas.
 
almost drank a whole liter of whiskey one day in my early 20's.... woke up sitting on the drain in my shower, wrinkled as a prune, the room flooded. lucky i didn't die as an extension cord was plugged into the wall and laying in the puddle.
 
750ml of Country Fair Cotton Candy flavored Pinnacle vodka. Vodka is the only type of alcohol I can enjoy drinking by itself; anything else has to be in the form of a mixed drink.

It was a Christmas present from a friend of mine. I finished it off and woke up the next morning to find a pile of red vomit on my livingroom floor. That wasn't fun to clean up.

On a separate occasion, I had quite a few shots of Everclear (95% alcohol) and forgot how to use my legs. I sat on my friend's floor until someone helped me to the couch. Not sure which experience was more fun.. lol
 
When I was younger like 18-23 I could drink 10-15 shots and get pretty drunk. Now if I want I can drink 1.75l of regular vodka in two days.


Not advisable.. I get headaches from hell when I drink that much. I haven't puked in a long time, but that's probably because I drink vodka and vodka only. My tolerance is retarded.. as well as me for drinking that much.


Usually my first drink before going out or anything is 8 shots in a glass, chug that, then chase it with sprite or tonic water usually.

The majority of DCgoers understand that their choices arent healthy, leave the "your killing yourself, stop!" talk for OD and DC unless it is something you think that they really arent aware of.

You came to that conclusion urself but i felt the need to reiterate, because im high on cocaine and alcohol. :p

I have probably only drank about 2/3 of a fifth to myself throughout a night, although ive drank cases of beer and more aften than that, several bottles of wine at various times.
 
I think 3/4 of a bottle of cheap whisky in like 10 minutes. Needless to say I was beyond fucked up, vomited in the bus as soon as I got in and was punching the door yelling like a retard.

Later I found myself hugging a trash bin yelling at the people that were passing by while my friends filmed it all.

This was... 4 or 5 years ago? Good times =D
 
Maybe half a fifth. I used to drink a lot more when I didn't understand my tolerance. Now I stop right before I get sick.
 
So much that I blacked out for the rest of the night, and I guess most of the next day or I slept off the hangover and don't remember any of it.

It was a combination of beer, shots, and mixed drinks as that's what I would drink before going out to bars and at bars, and dance clubs.

I did wind up meeting someone who became one of my best friends that night in a dance club and I do not really remember any of it. Sometimes when I would get extremely drunk I would remember going to the dance club before while extremely drunk but that was it.

I had a tolerance and was used to drinking 12+ beers or more in a night, or a whole lot more shots and mixed drinks with various liquors when this happened.

I do not drink at all now, and this was over a decade ago.
