I am the Mom of an opiate addict that was smoking and snorting, now he has started iv using. I am so scared for him and for me. I feel like there is a lot of tragedy ahead. I am not able to speak with him, he thinks I don't know when he is using, but it's so obvious. And I am disgusted and it just causes me pain to see him like that. I am just looking for people to exchange ideas and information and help me figure things out. Thanks.

The best you can do is make sure your son has clean needles. It would also be wise to have naloxone on hand in case of an overdose.
