A beauty that I could wake up with,
Surrounded by your glow,
And consumed by your kiss,
So I lent you my heart.
Lost with out it,
But found as you had it.
I lost perspective on my life,
But I still had your kiss.
Now the lease is up,
And you decided to give it back,
So I sit in an empty room.
With your kisses haunting me.
Wishing I could see the shimmer of your skin,
As I washed our love of you in my shower.
So as I sit in my room,
and write you this poem.
I wonder if I had your heart,
Or you just still have mine
I’m sorry for the pain,
I’m sorry for the love,
that like the rain,
our tears,
cannot wash away.
Because still now,
my love for remains.
Surrounded by your glow,
And consumed by your kiss,
So I lent you my heart.
Lost with out it,
But found as you had it.
I lost perspective on my life,
But I still had your kiss.
Now the lease is up,
And you decided to give it back,
So I sit in an empty room.
With your kisses haunting me.
Wishing I could see the shimmer of your skin,
As I washed our love of you in my shower.
So as I sit in my room,
and write you this poem.
I wonder if I had your heart,
Or you just still have mine
I’m sorry for the pain,
I’m sorry for the love,
that like the rain,
our tears,
cannot wash away.
Because still now,
my love for remains.
