Is a moment in time an event?
Or is it just another few minutes on the clock?
And for a moment in time I wanted to stay there forever.
And forever I will be there, because I will re-live the memory everytime I'm happy.

If I might ride on your coattails briefly - I wrote this in 1995.
The Beauty Of The Moment
A single instant, frozen in the mind’s eye.
Devoid of intention, complete in it’s honesty,
A revelation of true beauty.
Every feature, every nuance,
Momentarily in complete and complacent harmony,
As that moment is forever captured in the heart.
So, too, is the ache that such beauty spawns,
For the moment is fleeting, the beauty is stunning,
And the memory cries of emptiness in comparison.
Each such instant cannot be planned, or anticipated,
But when it happens, it can be reveled in, cherished,
Honoured, and held within our soul.
