Hi, I was just wondering if smoking cigarettes while you are on mdma would make you become addicted to cigarettes outside of rolling?

I was also wondering if having no after effects after popping means that the pills were clean? Or the exact opposite?

Thanks.

it's pretty easy to get addicted to nicotine, even if you only smoke when you roll, or on other "special occasions". I've been a pretty heavy smoker since I was about 12 or 13 (newports btw), and whenever I roll I end up goin through like two n a half packs

and having no after effects is usually an alright sign that they were clean pills, though it's very normal to have trouble sleeping or feel "different" or "weird" for up to a couple days after a good roll

Yes. If you aren't already addicted to smokes don't fucking start. Stupidest thing I ever did. And that's saying something=D

Thanks for all the answers guys, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, haha I really don't want to start smoking, but I heard it brings your roll way up. I was thinking to be a "roll only" occasion , but after seeing these answers I guess not. Thanks!

i smoked them befor i started rolling and as i rolled more i smoked less and less..it felt like my cotton mouth was making it all the way to my lungs and it would make me gag big time. when i would smoke sober i would have the same exact feeling in my throat but once in a while ill smoke them while rolling

I find that Phenylethylamine kills my recent cravings for fags. It's subtle but I lose that strange habitual attitude that draws me to want one.

No, it won't. I only smoke cigarettes when I'm getting fucked up in some way, and there have been times when I went through 1/3 pack to 1/2 pack a night rolling. But afterwards, I find them disgusting and don't feel like smoking.

I personaly dont beleive Nicotine is addictive.....though im in the vast minority their. I only ever smoke when I drink with mates in a pub or nightclub or whatever, and NEVER Crave them during the week when sober. Have been doing this for nearly six years now without any problems.

You are the vast minority. Cigarettes and nicotine is extremely addicting. I started because of the stress that work caused, and I've pretty much been addicted since. You don't seem to haver any signs of physical addiction, but I'm almost positive you are mentally addicted. You smoke when you're intoxicated, like a lot of people. You don't really want a cigarette during the week when you're sober, but you want one when you're drunk. That's still addiction, whether or not you admit it. I'm kind of curious if anyone offers you a cig/drag during your sober week. Maybe your body hasn't made the connection to cigarettes when sober?

To the OP: Cigarettes are great when you're rolling, especially camel crushes, but if I could go back and never smoke I would. :(

if you feel that you want to smoke when you roll, try cigars. They last longer and taste better. :)

Definitely in the VAST VAST VAST minority. Nicotine is incredibly addictive, I have been off of cigs for two months on Sunday after 3+ years of smoking about a 1/2 pack a day, all of which started from smoking "only when I was fucked up" and it has been a hellish experience quitting, I can only imagine what it would be like after smoking for longer.

I hear what your saying man, I know they are addictive like, most of my family and almost all my regular friends smoke then consistantly throughout the week. I started doing it in the pub, to be social ya know? Going out to the smoking area with the lads, and not wanting to be just standing their.

They all said the same shit to me ''oo this wont last, thats how I started too, you'll be smoking them flat out now in a while'' etc.....but it dident happen. I went to oxigen this year, and bought a box of rolling tobacco for it, and the next morning the half of it that was left, I give to my full time smoking mate....dident even want to look at it. Never crosses me mind when sober, and nah I wouldent takea drag at all during the week, taste of most of them when sober doesen't even agree with me. I dunno maybe im a medical marvel, but I swear all of thats true. 5 Years now.

yeah I know what you mean about it still technicaly being an addiction.....I mean I can and have drank without them to prove to myself I could do it....but yeah the craving would be present at them times. But when sober, nope never.

Smoking feels amazing on MDMA. I've found that one time when I had quit smoking that I restarted after having the urge to smoke a lot while rolling. This HAS happened to me before, and I would say that it's not worth the risk if you're trying to avoid getting addicted to cigarettes. The only drug I've found that I can smoke on and be fine when I'm sober has been alcohol and I'm not sure why that is.

It's impossible to say whether your pills are clean or not, although little after effects CAN mean that your pills are fairly decent. I would not take this as a dead giveaway, though. It's still always best to get ahold of a test kit and test your pills to truly understand their purity =)

I only smoke cigarettes if I'm rolling or drunk other then that I think they are gross, I've never had cravings for cigarettes while sober unless I had no weed :P

Nicotine is physically habituating, in fact it's one of the most addictive substances known to humanity.

If you start smoking while rolling there's a good chance you will eventually start smoking when straight.

I'm not sure personally, because I dont and have never smoked a cigarette oddly enough. My brother though took his first puff of one while on e recently and now smokes like crazy even when not on e. I would assume it depends on the person, but generally I don't see e preventing you from being addicted. You'll still know the effects and crave a smoke most likely. Your body wouldn't get addicted that quickly, but if you smoke a cigarette and it feels nice, you are most likely going to want to again even while sober.

I learned about this thing in my AP psych class last year called state dependent learning. It's where you are in a certain state of mind, say, you're super happy. Well the theory goes that when you learn a task while you're In a state of mind you'll better recall the way to complete that task if you are back in the state of mind in which you learned it, and eventually that task will be just as easy to recall when you aren't in that state of mind. Therefore I would think that it'd be very easy to become accustomed to smoking while not rolling if you continuously smoke while you are rolling..

are you following this? Sorry if it doesn't make sense, I'm high right now..
