No!

In reality I'm an ex-addict/alcoholic. I attend regular AA/NA meetings, and simply want to help people understand drug abuse, and addiction. I am an addict of several years. I have 20 years clean, and sober. Coming up on 21. This March of 2016. 21 year chip means a lot. (It's only a birthday cake) . Almost like a new addiction. AA/NA is my new drug of choice I guess. Guess I love it. I work with recovering addicts, and alcoholics. Try to guide them on the right path. We use both therapy, and conventional medical techniques. I.E, detox, inpatient/outpatient/follow-up. I'm proud of the work I do. I'm proud of being sober. I have ADHD apparently, and don't take meds for it since I get paid enough to work 4/7. My desk is a mess though folks. I've used, and abused stimulants of all kinds, depressants, etc. I need to get on the internet more.

Note please the following: If you EVER catch me in a singing tone. Beware. I need a re-hab.

Good on you, JunkieBuster :)

Someone in my recovery group is a part of Narcotics Anonymous - n she uses it as her recovery. In a way it's like her new addiction but she is happy n healthy now, has lots of friends, all in recovery n they do lots of stuff like outings etc. So good on you for using your experience to help others. It's positive, in my opinion.

I hope that you enjoy the site n people always need help so good on you, JunkieBuster <3

Much love <3

Thank you both for replying. It's difficult for me to reply to things without them becoming 1 to 7 days out of date since last posting. Work keeps me busy.

Eveleveivibe,

I'm so glad to hear your friend is participating in recovery. Not a day goes by I don't think or crave many of the substances I used. It's a hard life to live, as a recovering addict/alcoholic. Very troubling. I feel completely empathetic, and remorseful for those suffering addiction to any substance. God, do I just want to buy them a BLT, and Coca-cola and talk to them. I have Del-Taco littering my work-space since I'm old. MmHmm, three tacos for a dollar on Tuesdays here in so Cal.
