we are looking for someone who is active in the words forum and has a good posting history on the rest of BL. you should be willing to check the forum on a regular basis so you can respond to threads, deal with troublesome users in a professional manner and moderate as you see fit. as a member of staff, other BLers look up to you!

there are perks too... you get a larger inbox (150 PMs!!) and access to the staff forum where you can participate in social discussions as well as voicing your opinion on site policies. and you get to hang out with jackie jones, alisdairm and myself in the words [modthread].

please PM myself, jackie jones and alasdairm you application by 12pm PST on april 15th.

Am I eligible, given my recent join date, relatively low post count, and somewhat antagonistic mentality?

I post quite a lot here, both feedback-wise and content-wise, and I've never had any problems with anyone in the Words sub-forum...

one tip, moderators are held to a higher posting standard throughout the site, not just the forum they mod in. you don't have to get along with everyone but you need to appear professional and non-confrontational.
