Alright country music fans who do you think was better??? Who takes the crown as the king of country music??

Mr Yoakim and many, MANY others owe their success and very outline, definition, and feel of what country is to Mr. J.R Cash and Hiram Williams. They are Gods of country and music in general. They've become legends!

It such a tough one! I mean johnny Cash is more well liked by today's generation because he's a lot closer in time to us but I mean Hank was the Father of country music! Such a tough choice haha

Hank was the among the best songwriters of the 20th century.
His legacy is enormous. Don't get me wrong, I love johnny cash; but Hank was a true pioneer.

True they aren't, just in my opinion those are the two greatest ever.

Probably can't argue with that. Can't forget about Waylon, Merle, Willie, Coe, Patsy, Tammy, hell even Dolly also off the top of my head. There's a lot of old country greats. Also if you haven't checked out Hank III you should. I think he does a damn good job of filling his grandfather's shoes with the country side of his music he does.

I mean Hank Williams is the father and king of country this is undeniable, but since Hank Williams I don't believe anybody but Johnny Cash has had a more profound impact and legacy.

I'm good, thanks. Still clean. That's almost 5 months now. :)
Looking to start a job before I leave rehab. I think that's probably the smartest thing to do right now.

good news m8. Well done. Gone fast. a job isn't a bad idea. you get $ and some exp. doesn't mean you have to be at that job forever.

i am also starting a job very soon. stopping all drugs and alcohol except weed at night obv :) good 2 hear.
peace

What do you mean Cash isn't country? He may not be the same style as Hank, the "honky tonks" of the 50's but he is most definitely country.
