Howdy guys!
I finished my radio interview about the state of E-Testing kits in Australia, featuring our very own Johnboy from Bluelight and Paul Dillon from the Drug and Alcohol Research Centre in Sydney.
Its about a 10meg mp3 and I was hoping to post it online so anyone can have a listen, there are some great points made by both sides.
I can't for the life of me find anywhere to post it!!
My ISP only gives me 6meg, and none of those free space providers let me upload a file that big.
Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers,
Jonathan.

Paul Dillon said nothing's being done by the enlighten group to inform people of the dangers.... he needs to get his facts straight - that's what the brochures are for.

lol, when i wrote that pamphlet i specifically remained factual and stated all the risks and the best ways to minimise those risks while using mdma. there is even a section in it devoted to reducing risks, but it does state that
As with all drugs there is a certain amount of risk involved, however taking preventative measures can reduce these risks.
if paul dillon read the pamphlet he would know that many of his arguments against reagent resting and the information enlighten provides are incorrect. Enlighten has recieved many complements regarding the pamphlet as an educational rescource due to its factual unbiased nature, and its completeness.
I would like to hear from Paul Dillon if he feels that there is any vital information that we are missing from it as his argument is that the information we provide is incomplete and we are misleading because we do not state all drugs have their inherant risks. If someone can find a more complete ecstasy FAQ that goes into as much correct detail as the Enlighten one i would like to see it.
Perhaps Paul Dillon should base his arguments on facts rather than what he assumes we are not doing.

just got off the phone to him. basically he claimed ignorance, saying he didnt know our group existed and that he was speaking about testing groups generally.
i guess i have to take him at his word, but at least i have now explained to him what we do and our position. we were able to have a candid talk about it all, which is a lot more satisfying than exchanging sounbites (which was all one sided as he hadnt seen any pieces we had both appeared on).
it comes down to we are on opposite sides of an issue, but we agree on a great many points. we will both be keeping this in mind when considering what the other says in public, and i ask all of you to do the same. he's a government stooge, im the raver's friend

rang him this morning, he pleaded ignorance, saying he was talking about testing groups in general, and didnt even know that we, enlighten, existed. er ok, have to take him on his word i guess... he was pleased to hear we are giving out that info and i've sent him all the relevants links so he can check out the pamphlet himself.
had a long talk about lots of issues. still dont agree about the central point, but now at least he has entered into some dialogue...

sorry, i was too quick to get angry at mr paul to thank you for a great story... cheers... if there's anything else we can for you just ask....

umm.....any chance that there will be a transcript of this interview? i'm really keen to hear it, but my dodgy computer doesn't have a soundcard

yaytima: we hopefully will have a transcript of it (and all other media stuff) real soon.
my link works, its just a huge file (9meg) and you may have lost connection, giving you only the intro music. im going to try and shrink it further for easier downloading...
