I've called a job centre in the roughest area of Manchester (Longsight = gun gang central) and been treated with sweetness and light. I must have been a breath of fresh air compared to all the usual idiots they deal with.

Then again, you are in Scumdee ;)
 
Spade, you must accept your current position in life as doley scum. We've all had to suffer it - touching the forelock to job center fuckers who view you as little more than excrement. Keep calm and don't give them any reason to fuck you about.

It's not me, the first women I spoke to was really nice and helpful. The wife I got on the second call was a cunt. Some of them are alright, some aren't. The women that deals with me every 2 weeks is a bitch, I say good morning to her and she doesn't even reply or so much as look at me. Just grunts and moans about stuff. She's an arsehole.

LOL @ my current position in life. I'm not worried mate, it's no big deal I just think these jobcentre cunts needs to be brought down a peg or two and if they think they'll be giving me grief and a hard time they'll be getting told where to shove their £64. :D
 
Went to the job centre today, had to fill out forms about why I didn't show, might nt be getting paid blah blah. Whatever.

I love that my usual appointment is on Mondays because I'm not due in now for another 4 weeks because of a bank holiday, this will be the third time this has happened and I've only been signing on for a short while. Great stuff. :D

Play the game spade, not worth getting them riled if they're throwing you some fuck every fortnight.

Just hope you get something sorted within 6 months or you'll be sent on one of those god-forsaken A4E courses where you have to sit in a classroom for 35 hours a week.

i haven't signed on, no.

nothing concrete to report as yet but obviously i've applied for a few things. i thought i was in with a shout for a job in kazakhstan, but it turns out you need to have a certificate in higher education (HND or higher, in any subject) to get a work visa. i don't have one, so that's one country off the list. :|

i am quietly enjoying not working cos i've got so much to do here around the house and garden etc., but my savings won't last forever and i better get a nip on. :\

when i said 'any subject', i didn't mean a mickey mouse degree bought off ebay from Mumbai Polytechnic (like yours), i meant something useful. :D

I've got qualifications coming out me ears and still consider myself dumb as fuck! The more you learn the more you know how stupid you are :D

and thanks Kate. but aye, intelligence is not measured by words and numbers on paper.
many political leaders may have gone to fancy unis etc,
but i still consider the crackhead down the street to be far more wise and smart than the majority of em.


i think my main thing is that a lot of stuff in school never interested me.

like my art class actually practically killed my art talent.
as in i was forced against my will to draw and paint shit i didnt want to. or else id get failed.

i think i subconsciously associated being forced to do it with art, i dunno...
