Jobs and Drug Tests

I'm trying to apply for summer work at a local supermarket or movie theater etc... but all the applications say they may require a urine testing upon hiring. Has anyone actually been tested for these types of jobs? Or is it just there to scare off drugies? any input would help,

I work at a supermarket and had some friends who work at a movie theatre. I wasnt drug tested for my job and neither where they. Im betting its just a scare tactic. If they actually do end up trying to test you... you can always say no

yea i doubt places like that will drug test u. if it wasn't for places like supermarkers and movie theatres us slack stoners wouldn't be able to get jobs anywhere.

dude supermarkets never ever test. i worked at one and the BOSSES would fricken come to work hungover and high. they'll hire anything that can walk and chew bubble gum

Some supermarkets do test, I used to work for one that's pretty well known all around NY called Wegmans. They only tested if you were going to a full time position, and it was only once unless you were out for a significant amount of time due to an accident.
So really I wouldn't worry too much about it, or you can save yourself the stress and worry and just refrain from drugs for a bit.

Or you could get a job at my law firm (we're everywhere so there's probably an office near you too!). On the applcation it says "have you ever been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor outside of a pot conviction". Ahhhh, I new I found my dream employer that day. And no drug testing whatsoever. It's a law firm after all!
 
If your that worried about it, goto GNC and pick up a bottle of pills called TetraCleanse. It cost about $12 bucks, and they're little capsles with a brown powdery substance in them. Just take about 6 of them a day up until your drug test and you'll test clean, they work great.
 
There is only a minor chance they would even drop you, so you might be cool as is.. if they do, then so what? Go to the next store.. a few summers ago, maybe 3, a friend and myself decided we would make many of the local businesses pay out the ass for drug testing, while we collected a bunch of official forms saying we pissed dirty - our goal was to fail as many drugs as possible.. so we went to places thet drug tested, lied on our resumes, then would go get ripped off said drug and piss dirty... the hardest part was finding places that would ACTUALLY test - we hit a bunch of supermarket chains, they ALL said they would test, only two of about 6 actually did... Publix was my favorite as I pissed dirty for opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, and benzos ..
