job on the line

Man I would start looking for a new job. There is a good chance they will wait a little while and fire you for something unrelated.

Yeah, I got away with it for a long time, and its stressful when you know everyone knows....It sounds like theyre lookin for a reason. You could approach them or just make it worse. stressful situation for sure

During the times in my life when I've had a solid, cheap hook-up, I've had to be honest and ask myself about what I wantedto do with myself. Do I want to finish college or do I want to take opiates every day? Do i want do well in grad school? Do I want to accomplish something at my job? Or do I want to get high every day? OK, of course I want ot be able to get high every day, but I resist that temptation. I'm lucky enough to be in a field I somewhat enjoy. I have hobbies I spend a lot of time on. I've been chipping all these years and managed to never get hooked or have severe withdrawal symptoms.

I think as long as i stop getting high starting now aand show them im a good worker ill be alright. I have four days off starting todsy so its enough to get dope out of my urine with my fast metabolism.

I started talking to a girl today and live at a halfway house and really really wanna keep my job so i have more reasons then ever to quit getting high

Heroin isn't tested for, only its major metabolite and its window is 72 hours so by 4 days you are definitely in the clear. I hope you are succesful in your aspirations.

One job I had they knew I was fucked up. They sent me to rehab because I was an asset to the company. I still used when I got out but during work it would only be enough to keep the sickness off, and I waited till I got home to get a proper buzz. I did stop doing heroin after rehab and just stuck with oxy and hydrocodone. I hope you the best of luck and watch your back at work.
