Saville was a man of power.

A man of great integrity. Wealth and finesse.

No one could touch him. He would aggressively wipe the fucking floor and end the careers of anyone who dared take him into the battle zone.
Saville always comes out tops.

That's how life works.
 
He was a fruit loop in a tracky. Hardly one of the most powerful men in the world.
 
I think a bit of both. A bit of no actual 100% proof & people not willing to testify due to them probably being in "showbusiness" somehow & old Jimboats having the ability to squash their career.

I think it was SHM (might be wrong) who mentioned an old rumour of some newspaper editor threatening Savile with it & he replied saying that he'd stop donating some sort of massive amount of money to a particular charity if he went through with it. Probably some charity that was quite important & would disappear without Savile's money. That plus the lawsuit threats. It was definitely known though, so there was some sort of cover-up.
 
Yeah I have actually Cornish, used to volunteer for Barnados in 2 different roles AND worked for a charity for 8 months. And you?
 
one or two allegations may be some twisted fuck looking for attention.. but five? cmon


if the bbc had five allegations of someone using even discriminatory language nowadays there would be absolute hell to pay, methinks it was the era they were in of big stars/contracts and more cautious press that allowed such evil to run unchecked but i guess you can never be sure.. didnt he keep all his dead mothers shit lying around? and saville back in the day was powerful, in that he'd sue you six ways to sunday were you to mention such an allegation without proof



lets just hope the fuck died in a whole lot of puking-up-black-shit pain and try to move on

The above posts make an interesting contrast with the earlier 'RIP Sir James' thread. Don't tell me - you all knew then he was a nonce but didn't want to jeopardize your careers with the BBC.

I'd be surprised if I didn't mention something about him being a creepy old peado in that thread. If I didn't then I just kept silent so folk wouldn't be raging at me. Oh wait... that's what cunts have been doing for years. I guess I'm just as bad. Unless I did indeed make a peado post when he died.

as has been said though, it is the bbc who are at fault. if they uphold the kind old granddad image - however unbelievable - you cant blame the watching plebs for the standard obituaries/condolences etc
 
And of course the big question for all the disapproving redblooded heretosexual males...alone in a caravan with an adoring, hot Borstal gal, wouldn't you be just a teeny bit tempted? Jerry Lee Lewis wed a 13 year old and millions marry at 14 or 15 across the globe...noncing, to a degree, seems to be a matter of geography.

I knew a guy who supplied coke to a Saville factotum in the 70s...was a little concerned about for whom it was intended, as I recall. Even then, he was thought to be at it but nobody seemed much bothered. We are all guilty.

Personally, no Charlie. Having been with a woman for the best part of 20 years, little girls don't do anything for me. Don't get me wrong, I see what you're trying to say about being judgemental. But turn the sexes around in your statement. Ask all the BL girls if they'd fancy a bit of 15 year old social services boy alone in a caravan. I imagine 99.9% of them would give you a strange look and put you on ignore.

Sex with minors tends to be about power, not sex (which is why the BL women wouldn't be interested). Savile's paedophilia is a straight up abuse of his power. Let's call it rape. Still interested in that borstal girl bait?

This is true. The recent disappeared with her teacher schoolgirl case is a case in point. The age of consent is 15 in France, which is why they didn't exactly go all-out to help find her at first.
 
The age of consent is not the issue IMO grown men should know the difference between right and wrong. A 30 year old man and a 15 year old, anyone who thinks that's OK needs to reexamine their morality
 
Trouble I have with your argument atm is that it is the same 'morality' that wanted to beat me to a pulp for having a 17 year old girlfriend when I was 24.

(For the record the relationship lasted 6 years)
