HI!!! I'm a 45 year old chronic pain sufferer who can't get treatment!!! I have Fibromyalgia and Lupus along with other Chronic pain issues and no pain management doctor will treat me. For some unknown genetic reason, no pain medications show in my urine or blood! I was in the hospital about two months ago with severe stomach inflammation and to get me out of pain they tried 10mg dialauded, no affect, 10 mg morphine, no affect, finally 10 mg ketamine got me out of pain. They took blood and urine after the doses and no drugs detected! They waited 2 hours and reperformed the tests and no drugs detected! They checked my IV and wanted to give me more ketamine thinking I needed it and my husband told them NO it's working she's comfortable, we have this issue all the time, it's why she can't get pain management. They sent me to a specialist and I went through testing and at no time did anything ever given to me appear in my blood or urine but I felt the affects!!! They said I'm a genetic anomoly. That's wonderful but no pain management doc cares, nothing shows that your taking their meds they cut you OFF!!! Any help appreciated!! I'll try anything!!!!
