I am hanging to see Jeff play at Hardware on Saturday, but I was wondering how his set last night was.
What tracks did he play? Was he up to his usual standard etc etc....
Any comments would be great....

I wish I could have gone but alas I had to miss out.
Reports from friends of mine said it was awesome. Well worth it.

Fucking Unbelievable and Bangin..
I put my mitsi t-shirt on and was off to HOME.
Straight in, no HOMElike queues....biz-e started off with some nice shit....Sugar Ray followed with the harder side of his.
But then.....through the smoke came Jeffrey.
All i can say is, I was hypnotized by the man and his music...UNbelievable...mind bending and comforting.
SHook Jeffreys hand and told him he was a "Purpose Maker"....he laughed and blushed(as much a black man can).
Right now...listening to his LifeLike CD(just borrowed)...the funny thing is....in the cover he has this interview with a psychologist...to basically analyse who he is and what he does...to show us who Jeff Mills is.....funny thing is....in the post-party scattered conversation with my friends...we gave our interpretations of what he does...and it turn out quite similar to what he said bout himself...(before we even saw the psych interview)....though it could be just the drugs

....anyway i was impressed....oh no, drugs again

hehe
So you should be in store for something special melbourne....im sure he will impress.
As music goes....well The Bells..of course.
And the lovely Jaguar song.
But his 909 will show you a good time....love the hard-up claps
You'll get your purpose soon Melbourne.

That man is a robot. I stood on top of the speakers + watched him play.So much concerntration. Fucking amazing.
About the night....can't stand Home. Can't get comfortable there, always a really cold atmosphere. Sound system sounded so distorted last night, really bassy. Not that i wasn't impressed, just couldn't get into the music the way i did on New Years.
Jeff Mills is so fucking good though. Those sounds he makes are pretty incrediable!!!

It was great head fucking music all night. Biz e and Ray warmed everyone up perfectly and then Jeff turned it on. Over 3 hours of huge groove slammin Techno....

Hey it was MILLer time alrighty, and didn't he just put artificial smiles on our little faces......Absolutley on par with BT for excellent stage presence and a kick ass sound!!!!
Myself, cosmic_seadog, nickers and gus all had a brilliant time!!!!! Must do it again sometime soon!!!

Poor is the man who's pleasures depend on the permission of another

To see what Jeff Mills did with his hands was amazing, majical even.. we want more

Yeh Boikah, that was me in the middle front of Mills with the mitsi t-shirt, from that view i too could see the magic of his mixing.
ANd windowlicker jr, i think when you heard that track with mad claps you were hearing Jeff create magic with his 909....thats when i heard the hard-up claps.....
didn't get a chance to say ciao to ya, you musta left as soon as jeffrey finished.
