Jankem (Huffing concentrated gas from raw sewage)

You know what sucks?

Lots of this poverty is in places that have no lack of natural resources.

The place they used to call Zaire (when it was run by that clown wearing the leopard skin) has one of the few first class deposits of cobalt in the world. They have copper, too - lots.

Nigeria is a major world oil producer. It used to be run by this guy, "General" Sani Abacha (sp?) until he died suddenly, in what I sincerely hope was great agony. He was a brutal thug.

Both of these places are full of deperately poor people. Nothing has really changed...they've now got different sets of brutal thugs.

Yes, I know...both US puppets, backed by my government...their governments run, for all practical purposes by multinational corporations who create the laws with their bribes.

I can only hope that when the Demos take over about 18 months from now, they'll start enforcing the fucking law...US based companies bribing foreign officials is illegal under US law.

All my fellow Americans reading this: WRITE YOUR REP IN CONGRESS.

Ok maybe we should have a bluelight drug drive? send what you can spare to these poor African children? dont forget lighters syringes aluminum foil you know the essentials. But seriously whats happening in Africa right now IMO will be studied in the future as one of the greatest tragedies in human history. I dont know about yall but my family throws food way sometimes those kids eat out of trash cans. fucked up shit to think about

Although I do agree that this is disgusting, pitiful and horrible...

Although I am well off enough to afford more conventional methods to get high....

Although I am disturbed that life is so bad that these human beings do literally what dogs do and sniff their own shit. To get high? To escape?

Although I am going to be thinking about this for some time

I doubt any of us are going to do anything about it.

How could you? honestly.... provide toilets? proper sewerage disposal. Well that would be a start wouldn't it.
This is making me angry because I am reading about it on the internet and somewhere in africa they may be a kid huffing faeces and sewerage to get fucked up and forget.
 
Probably not that much worse than getting high(or should I say getting deprived of oxygen) from N2O... quit whining. I'd do it. Hell, I sniff my own farts. Gets me real high. BOOYA

Reading that kid talking about how he saw visions of his mother and forgot the trouble in his life when using this substance broke my heart to be honest. I think that's the saddest thing I've read in a long, long time.
