now he has been charged, it's not enough. where will the goalposts move next?

I'm not sure how US law operates but here the CPS has just two bases for pressing a charge:

1)It's likely to succeed in a court of law.
2)It's in the public interest.

So while people may feel he's getting off lightly (since he appears to have pleaded guilty already), if their isn't sufficient evidence to proceed with other charges, that's not an avenue down which they would venture. I PRESUME US law works in a similar manner?

BTW I just love the 'in the public interest' being explicitly stated here. I don't know if that IS explicit within the US but sometimes I wonder if it's implicit.

Feds never have to deal with consequences. Epps was one of the only people that tried to get people to storm the capital, that was caught on camera.

The purpose of gun rights is for self-defense, including security against tyranny, as well as hunting and sporting activities.

So somebody who was part of a mob smashing their way into a barricaded building got shot?

Amazing that people who praise the constitution so highly were able to perform the mental gymnastics to suggest it was an illegal action.
 
She tried climbing through a window into a barricaded part of the capitol building during the middle of a riot while armed guards had their guns drawn and pointed at her. She literally fucked around and found out.

Those clowns are lucky she was the only one smoked at that time.

She was told repeatedly to “back down” “get back” etc by armed guards. It’s her damn fault and that’s all there is to it.
