Jan 6 Attack on the Capitol and the aftermath

Doesn’t matter they aren’t allowed to kill unarmed people that pose no threat to them. It’s like a super basic principle in training.
As already mentioned, cops kill unarmed people all the time and in the middle of riot, they’re all potential threats.

Wow - That training really works!

Only shot 1000+ other unarmed people in the same year.

If the police point a gun at you and tell you to stop? Well if you don't they will reasonably presume you could well be armed. Suicide bomber or such.

Insane is always another reason. They do not seem to manage people in mental health crisis too well.

Maybe someone should research the political affiliation of those 1000+ people?

I'm also fascinated by the sheer fantasy that in such a situation the police officer would identify a person as being in this mythical group. If you are warned, have a gun pointed at you and ignore the instructions given, I very much doubt that it makes any difference.

My point stands, cops aren’t supposed to kill unarmed people that don’t pose an immediate threat. Politics aside, she was executed.

Someone who could be a suicide bomber IS an immediate threat. It's not like she wasn't given the chance to stop. She was part of a mob - don't try to portray this as if she was all alone.

I don't see you standing up for people who were restrained and were CERTAINLY unarmed that the police killed.

Don't attempt to use a straw man proposition, it's insulting to assume other won't immediately see it for what it is. What next? An Ad Hominem attack?

🙄

Using a straw man to accuse of using a straw man lol. My point stands, I’m against pigs and their unwarranted over use of force in all situations, no exceptions.

It does seem the US police shoot a lot of people. But then their ARE a lot of people in the US with guns. It's not like the police aren't getting shot themselves. I can quite imagine how, in a nation where almost ANYONE could have a firearm, one is likely to side towards defence of bystanders and plain self-preservation.

The trend is down from the peak in the 1980s where hundreds of police officers were being shot dead each year, but at the end of the day, if you want the liberty to bear arms, that liberty extends to the police.

I note over 48,000 people were shot dead in 2021 (latest year with accurate data). That's a LOT of people. But your nation, you chose the rules, no I.

UK figure...19. Adjusted for per capita - 95. That's TOTAL. How many did UK police officers shoot dead? 2.

Most of the gun crime stems from one particular group, but to identify this issue is officially wrong think.

She was shot in the shoulder dude and she posed a threat. The footage is widely available. Quit trying to make a martyr out of a moron.

African-American males ages 18-25 are 4x more likely to be incarcerated for marijuana related crimes than their white counterparts even tho the usage rate between the two groups is virtually the same.

One thing they never mention is that marijuana charges are often the plead down charges from more severe crimes. Black people a very over represented in the criminal justice system bc they commit more crime. Fatherlessness being a main factor in this reality.

“Renegadetribune” 🙄 try finding an actual credible source for that BS and then I *might* entertain it. Until then it’s just racist BS.
