OK, recently this thing has been happening to me where once hit a vein and the blood "shoots up the droppers neck" i think i'm good, but i
double check and BAM bubble/vacuum. When i move it around small amounts of blood stream in, then again... bubble.
Now am i just poking in and out of the vein (which is what i figure) or is this something else?

You could very well be going straight through a vein, or even possibly catching the edge of your vein; pending on how your moving the needle and where you hit.

Without seeing your technique I can't really say, though most likely your just going through it.

Try to get a better feel for your veins. Feel them literally. Get them flowing so you know how deep under the skin they are, what angle they are running on. Try to stick it right in the dead center, if you go too far, so long as you don't move your rig weird, pull the plunger back and if it vauums then leave it as so and slowly pull out till your comfortably in.

I've seen people jam a needle in their arm and if they don't hit they just twist the rig around and move it in circular motions... I think that's totally fucked and feel as if it does or can cause significant damage to tissues, veins especially. Please don't do that.

if I miss and it totally doesn't make sense to my eyes I will slowly pull out to the point where the needle tip is almost out then try a different degree of how I'm holding the rig, and a couple of times when this has happened to me, as I would slowly pull out I would here quite a loud *POP* and would be successfully registered.

Patience definitely is the key. That and practice helps.

I don't know how long you've used a rig but when I very first started I would have my moments of missing say 20 times and could not figure out why, it plainly looked as if it should be right in, but never register.

Also I don't know what you use but with my DOC I can use 31gauge short tip needles, which can help prevent from diving too deep.

This happens to me with partially collapsed veins. If at all possible, approach at a smaller angle; the more of the needle that's inside the vein the less easily it will come out while you're pushing in.

I definitely recommend you focus on carefully inserting the needle slowly once you have a vacuum, then be sure not to move it at all once you successfully register. While plunging, watch for missing signs obviously, but focus more on making sure the needle doesn't move than on anything else, and you shouldn't have a problem.

It's like a balancing act between your mental alertness being focused on watching out for the signs of missing a shot, as well as for keeping the needle as still as possible, as well as plunging carefully but at a normal rate and not too quickly at the same time. Sounds tedious, but eventually one gets the hang of it.

If the blood is just trickling into the syringe.. abort mission and find a new injection site, that vein is partially collapsed/not useable.

Yeah I wouldn't do it any other way. If you have good veins even with no vacuum you will see a small flash of blood (you have to have good translucent ice-tea dope not shit ass tar shit). IMO you have to be an expert to do it that way.

I pierce the skin, pull plunger back no more than a unit or so..enough to create a small vacuum. As soon as you hit that vein blood will shoot in and then you anchor down and blast off. I am ocd and I check like 4 times during the hsot..which is stupid IMO but I dunno I cant stop my self from doin it.
