So my pet octopus Luuurv's smoking shards. He's not an addict, but when he'll go out he'll have about .5g over the whole night. He asked me earlier about IV'ing shards, and I felt sad 'cos I couldn't answer his question.
He's a very smart octopus, he makes the goodies himself, so he knows it's not cut. He asked me how should he IV it, and what the dosage should be.
This is what I told him:
"I have never done this personally, and would never engage in such activities. However, I know that methamphetamine is water soluble, and the extra's aren't. So I would probably chuck a few shards on a metal spoon, add enough water to dissolve it, then heat it from underneath to boil off the bad chemicals. As soon as it starts to boil, I'd remove the heat, then suck it up through a cotton ball. I'm sure you've seen enough american TV to know the rest."
I didn't address dosage because I didn't want to mislead my beautiful octopus. I think, just to be safe, he'd start with about 20mg. Apparently it becomes apparent fairly quickly whether it was enough/too much.
Any advice you have for Otto the Octopus would be much appreciated,
Jimmy
