IV'ing Into Hands

The veins in my arms are hard to locate properly at times. However, I have very exposed, easily-visible vein on the top of my hands. So is it safe to IV into my hands?

Im not an expert on the subject but I cant see why it would be any different to doing it in your arms

It's not the best place; the veins roll easily IIRC & missing is a huge fucking bitch.

U need to be very careful that's my only place I can hit too make sure no use high gauge needle tips..

The veins move around and if you miss you can have problems. There are tons of little muscles, tendons, nerves and other things in your hands you don't want to stab with a needle. Be extra safe if you are going to do it. I've seen people's hands swell up massively on a missed shot.

it hurts at times but its my preferrebly place to shoot with a small gauge.......easier to hide for me cuz I bruise easier........but in all reality no place is a good place for a needle to go into u. good luck and b safe

As a few people have said, it's not the best place to shoot and the veins in your hands also are a lot smaller then in your arms, they just look big because they're so close to the skin. They roll a lot, missing in the hand hurts really bad, quite a bit worse then in the arm IMHO and they're easy to accidently slip out of while injecting into too. I use my hands occasionally, I'd suggest using the smallest gauge needle you can get and a short length tip like 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch needles can be way to big and I'll have a bit more trouble a lot of the time then with the 1/4 inch needle.

The veins in my hands do not roll at all, personally. I used them all the time, as my arms are...well, shot.
