Iv'ing hydromorphone

I'm sure theirs tons of info and threads on this topic but I used search a bunch and it just gives me crap and I don't have time or patience to search the whole site so if this thread is closed or moved I totally understand. I'm a newbie to iv'ing. I know it's dangerous and could be harmful but it's what I'm choosing to do at this moment. Two main questions are should I be using a micron filter on 8mg dillies? My past attempts I've used the cotton filter and I always have a clear solution. Question two, I'm cursed with tiny veins. This truly is harm reduction cause I don't wanna miss. I missed once and it hurt like crazy and my hand swole up. All I have is my hands and ankle and they're getting pretty marked up. I know rubbing alcohol and heat bring out vein but what other tips could I use. They can't barely get my arm in hospital. I try to drink a lot of Gatorade but my worry is I'm not in good enough therefore not getting full effect. I've only had blood rush in once but all other times I get a small retract of blood to turn solution pink and I push. I feel it but I know it can be better. That's it. Micron firer and vein tips and good spots y'all have used. Also, do you reuse micron filters? Just asking before I snatch one from Amazon. Also got pharmacy syringes. Can I use filter on them? Sorry again if this is out there already. Just trying to make a dangerous thing safer. Thanks

Im not sure if you can use microns on standard pharm rigs... I've been wondering the same thing... I always used cotton and it seemed like enough for the dillies. They seem pretty pure and don't need all that much filtering.
The only thing I can help you with for the vein thing is to get your heart rate up. Jog in place, and push ups, dips. It will get your blood pumping and you want it specifically in your arms. And remember those old school desks; when you would hang your arm over the back of the chair and your arm would go numb and you'd watch your veins pop out? Yeah, I've seen people do that to get veins to pop... I have enormous veins so I don't have much advice there, just what I've seen and heard. But as long as your in the vein you will have the effect... And dillies can be strong the first time you shoot them..

Thanks MadMike. Yeah, I always get cleaar solution with cotton. I can mane jog in place but that's about it. Like I said there is one honker vein in my right arm but it's deep as shit and even hospital missed it and nothing in my forearms. It's frustrating. I hit my foot last night and worked great. I mean it was hard to stick but I got it. Longer lasting effects. Are hands bad? That's really my only option. I've even tied off and heated arm to try to find that vein and a tiny blue patch appeared but it wasn't good enough to try. Anyway, thanks for the tips. Bout to go for one right now. Peace

Ok so I got a question. I'm lovin iv but I'm running out of veins. In fact I'm out. Gotta let my hands heal and I don't feel I'm getting most of ot. Which brings me to plugging. I've been reluctant but I'm considering it today. I'm gonna use a syringe with needle off. Do I need to filter from plugging? I've read all directions. I also have no colon I have ostomy bag so there will be no waste to deal with which leads me to believe this is better solution. What do y'all think

Just in case anyone looks at this. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself on here. Most threads don't interest me and I can't navigate this site worth a shit. I just got home and plugged. Now, I felt something and they say it takes awhile but I think I fucked up. All I had was little eyedropper bout inch and quarter long so prob not long enough. Shot it up there but I don't think it was deep enough. Had no leakage though. Laid there for 15 min and did feel a little bit. I was frustrated so I found one last spot to iv and it worked good. I'd like to keep going but I'm just simply out of spots. I'm hiding my hands around family cause they look bad. Neosporin was a good idea. Maybe soon I'll be healed and go for some more. I love this feeling. Low pain and a buzz. See my pain dr in 2 weeks so I'm gonna have to straighten out cause they run a tight ship and pee tests are thorough so they'll see what I'm doing. Ityll suck going back to oral. Really suck but I'll get thru it. Boy did I just fuck my tolerance cause I'm feeling the plugging too I think. Oh well. One oral before bed and one at midnight when I take my shitty Opana. Maybe I'll go find a thread people are talking. Peace

Thanks for all your advice. I almost tried crook of arm cause I could feel it. But Tuesday I'm going to dr for bloodwork and their gonna go there so I didn't want to have marks. It was frustrating. I know I'm my hands I'm in there even though I don't get blood back in syringe. I always feel it but I know it could be better. This, of course won't happen again cause my dr and I are weaning me off opiates. I suspect I have hyperalgesia. Wiki it except put opiod induced hyperanglsia. It's def what happenin to me. Even on level of ousted last 2 weeks I still in pain and I'm very sesitive to pain. I twisted my ankle other day and it felt like I broke it. So in looking forward to getting off. We're going slow so it shouldn't be bad. I've went cold turkey before and it was miserable. Anyway, thanks for your tips man!!

Thanks man. Shouldn't be too bad. I'm a title irritable but that's ok. Just want this pain to stop. I'm ready and yes a dr helping is a big help. After this it will be natural for me. Kratom and cannabis. Have Kratom now but tolerance is too high and no effect. Anyway, thanks for your kind words. Appreciate it

So I didn't relize what a addictive process iv'ing was. I did it for a short amount of time but was emptying dishwasher and grabbed big spoon I used and I started craving like crazy. Stimuli. Coming off opiates isn't fun any way. It's surely easier the way I'm doing it but I'm still hurtin from it. Using DXM and a little bit of weed. My hands are scarred man. I've been putting neosporin on them all day and it's just a self conscious thing. I mean it's pretty obvious if anyone saw them. One hand starting to look better but one is pretty bad. Anyway, wanted to throw that stimuli in. My best friend was a heroin junkie for years so I have huge new respect for him. Now he has scars. Glad he's clean 4 yrs now and soon I'll be. Only did a line of heroin once. Just nodded out and didn't like it, thank God. I became addicted to iv Dilaudid in 2009 when I was in ER in horrid pain from blood clots in my groin. I don't know how much he gave me but he pushed it in my iv fast and that's the highest I've ever been on opiates. Didn't take all my pain away but talk about a rush. Then 30 min later another dose!! They don't do that shit anymore. Usually it's like 1mg pushed real slow by nurse. I don't know about now and I hope I don't find out cause since my clots I've been to that ER tons of times. I had my colon out this June but the abdominal pain is starting to subside and groin pain in just used to. This hyperalgsia is crazy!! I hurt all over and get headaches. I'm not iv or overdosing but I'm still on pretty fair share of opiates. Life is crazy. I hope my obsession with iv ends soon. I pop one in mouth and I'm thinking, I coulda shot that. It's all part of the process. I'm done rambling. Be safe

If you don't get blood when you draw back you should not push plunger

Best thing to do is pull slightly back on plunger after you get needle under skin. Then when you are properly in a vein you will get goo steady blood entering syringe.

There are tons of usable veins in your arms. You are better off feeling for them once you tie off. Feel for the spongy feeling. It is much better to feel than try to look as looking often just gets the little surface ones

Thanks. Yeah, I had my issues with hitting veins. That one of the many reasons I stopped iv'ing. I hit my ankle a few times and yesterday I could barely walk they hurt so bad. All I can say is thank God it's a habit I lived thru!!!! I ain't got no buisness doin something that I know nothing about and iv was one of them. I mean, I love the rush...I do. But it all ain't worth that short rush. Not to me anyway. I'm gonna work with my dr and get off these opiates and start feeling better. I'm really excited but as life is, it will have to be earned and I'll pay the price here and there but I'll make it. I go for bloodwork Wed so I dam glad I didn't try my arm. I'm gonna have hard enough time hiding my hands. Been coating them with neosporin all day and they look better. I'll leave iv'ing to the pros and I'll stick with my pchy meds, Kolonopin, and Kratom with some good cheeba. Thanks for the advice though and the full site thing. Well after increased pain after tapering down I don't have hyperalgsia like I thought. So I'll continue on my regular dosage and switching back to MS Contin from this Opana crap in a week. I'll be taking 60mg 3x day. That should be ok and stay on dillies. Put it on this thread cause yesterday and today I iv'd again. Found a new vein in my hand so it's been good and I get immediate blood in syringe when I enter vein. I'm really used to the rush 8mg brings me and like today the euphoria lasted a long time. Go to dr tomorrow and I'll be hiding my hands. That neosporin trick works great. I can't do my ankles anymore. I guess since I'm inexperienced I'm not going in right or maybe it's the added pressure of walking but it hurts like shit when I hit my ankles. I'm jealous of like my best bud who was over earlier and he had big honker veins in his arms. I just tap on it till I see or feel something. Get bloodwork tomorrow then I'm gonna start trying to get my arms cause I feel ill get more from the shot if I hit an arm. I wish there was a way to prepare MS Contin. I tried and it just turns to gel. I have a thread in it but nobody has input. Some say you can and some say no. I think I'll stick with my dillies. Gonna try 12mg tonight. I've been doing this for a month so I need a step up but I only get 6 dillies a day so gotta keep that going. I've read the iv super thread many times and it helps but pretty much tells me what I'm doing wrong. Anyway, I'm back. Y'all be safe!!
