iv'ing drugs

so what preparation should one do before doing it iv(heroin,coke). i mean how do i prepare the shot.
coke, base, crack. are they all ok for iv use?
heroin. what heroin should be used for iv? is the brown u usually smoke ok to use or should it be the white?
is there something else one should think of if one's going to try it?

The only part I can help you with is, Black tar, i dont *think* can be Iv'd, as it is mainly for smoking...could be wrong though, as im sure phreex has IV'd blacktar...

& yes, tar is for shooting, although u can smoke it... must heat it to dissolve in h20

FYI :this thread is about advice with IV'ing drugs and the author mentioned coke and heroin, so I don't think that "speedballing" is offtopic, personally I don't think SB's are more dangerous than coke and heroin by themselves ( I od'd many times from C and H taken individually but never because of a speedball).
BTW mainlining is a dangerous practice no matter what you use.And .... speedballs give one of the most intense sensations I've ever had.With this I'm not trying to convince people to try.... not everybody can handle it.And yes you can die from it!

It's very possible to IV drugs with a minimum risk.. yes, it carries a bigger risk then snorting or smoking, but it can be done safely.. but when you combine heroin and coke/meth, that is NOT a safe combo - yes, it is VERY pleasurable, but you're running a huge risk heart problems as you have one drug that wants to speed up your heartrate, and another that wants to slow it down.. the risk is real for anyone, any age, no matter how healthy you are - there is NO SAFE WAY TO SPEEDBALL. Period. End of story..
We don't allow people to encourage it for the reason that someone might read your post and think there IS a safe way to do it - which there is not.. it's not got anything to do with it being off topic, it is simply an unsafe practice..
So if you want to, then go for it - remember to inject the heroin first, and that you're still playing with fire on this one..
