Opioids iVing blues? (Oxycodone HCL)

Is the method for IVing H the same as Oxycodone HCL 30mg? I have these here: http://www.drugs.com/imprints/30-m-8232.html
These are water soluble right? Usually with H I just add some water stir a little and shoot. Don't wanna waste a pill. And is the biovailability the same? Or is the only difference that rush?
I don't wanna overdose, so if I usually snort 30mg I should probably IV half of that correct? Or the whole thing?
 
There isn't much rush with oxycodone. If you don't have micron filters I would not suggest shooting the pill. The oral BA of oxycodone is very high.

They are water soluble and should be filtered through microns (or a cotton at a minimum) You need to add much more water than for injecting heroin. I'd suggest using 60+ units for a 30mg oxy.

For the sake of HR however you should just eat it, the rush is really minimal and is nothing like heroin or hydromorphone/oxymorphone/morphine
 
Not much rush with oxy. Oral bioavailability is close to 90%, so you'll get slightly higher but with a MUCH shorter duration from shooting. You're best and safest bet is eating it

That being said, IV is a terrible option for pills. So much filler and garbage that you DON'T want in your veins. I gotta advise against it.

60+ units?! Thats insane. I use 10 for a bag of H. And yeah I'm not gonna do it actually. I don't have a micron filter and I was curious. I don't even filter my H to be honest.
Anyway, I just prefer insufflation. And if there's no rush I wouldn't even do it. Thanks for the reply.

You did say Morphine though, I have Morphine Sulfate SR 200mg. But I noticed they gel up when added to water. Any way around this?

Gotcha man, I did hear about the bad fillers but assumed it was taken lightly because I see people talking about IVing blues A LOT. Thanks for the advice and I'll definitely take in your information. Thanks!
 
There is a work-around for some of the morphine ERs. Do a quick search and you'll find it. You still really NEED a micron filter though.
 
There is no good method for defeating the sustained release morphine pills. People will say "heat, microwave, shove it up a cat's butthole" but in reality it just makes things worse.

The reason it takes so many units with pills is because of the binders etc that are in each one. If you put 10 units into a crushed up 30mg it would just absorb into some of the powder. You always have a wonderful blue goop left over in the spoon as well.
 
10 units to dissolve a bag? That is about as little as you could get by with if the bag is 100 mg and the H is ~50% pure, you would be cutting it real close being able to dissolve all the H in the water. Its a bit over 500 mg soluble in 1 mL of water. So 50 mg in a 10 units.

and to filter a oxycodone you want to sue a wheel filter an you need more than 60 units to use one

10-20 units does the job for my H. Most potent I've came across too, then again I'm no expert on H nor IVing. I could be doing it wrong the whole time, haha.
EDIT: I should've said I use 10-15 units for a dose. Which for me is half a bag. Sorry about that.

IV'ing oxy with it's lack of rush and already strong oral BA makes it pretty pointless for most people. The trade off to risk/reward just usually isn't worth it for oxy. Some people report a rush from IV'ing but the vast majority do not. So you're taking on all the risks of IV'ing pills (especially if not micron filtering) and not getting any extra benefit then if you would have just taken it orally.
