Benzos ive never shared a needle, wat are my risks of having infection

^ Crap, that doesn't seem very fair! 'Your job means routine exposure to blood-borne diseases, but if you catch one, we fire you'!!

My sister's a dentist and had a minor needle-stick injury with an HIV+ & Hep C+ patient just before graduation; there was no impact at all to her job prospects etc., as far as I could tell, although she had trouble getting insurance cover because of her 'possible infection' (despite 2 clear tests already at the time). I have no doubt that it's different for different medical personnel at different medical facilities, though.

Not if that old blood is your blood. If the needle, any of the injecting equipment and your hands have not been in contact with infected blood then there is no chance of you getting Hep C(HCV) throw safe sex in there and the same goes for HIV.

You need to be careful always. I slipped up recently while on temazepam and a lot of heroin and used a spoon that 2 other people used beforehand, im not sure if they used new needles or not. Ive been injecting for 6 years and have always been safe and kept myself clean but just this one incident has put my health at jeopardy

You should also never share a razor, hair brush or tooth brush with anyone as they are all possible vehicles of these viruses.
