the days pass where i wish i could just walk of this stage
the vines that root round my heart
the passing solitude of a hummingbird
the winds rattle my soul as the snow falls upon my burnt skin
and this tenfoot wall of doubled words tumbles softly over deaf ears
i could scream out into the dark grasping at the tails of hope
that in the darkness someone would answer
as i shut my eyes to fall back into the depths the light trickles down
rolling gently over my lips

translucent memories, dark nights spent holding the papers of untold misery and in one solitary moment i thought he'd be my saviour. generations of youths moving to the under current of hidden bass lines. these man made idiots spurting the lines of self proclaimed saints, the fear grabs me and i dream of no escape, im drowning in a pool of regret and mistakes and for once i wish someone could lift me higher. as my broken body dances among the waves the crushing waves eat up my immature footprints bathed in golden light
