IV users: Do you do washbacks after a shot?

i would do it just to make sure i was still in the vein. yea its kinda pointless since the plunger is already depressed but i felt like if i knew i had nailed the shot perfectly it put my mind at ease. plus its kinda fun to get some blood in there and squirt it all over the walls of the mcdonalds bathroom on rt40.

yea i have done it at the end just to make sure i was int he vein the whole shot,and somtimes ill forget i have blood in it instead of water to flush it out and spray it in the plant and miss and get blood all over the fucking walls ...,did it in a car as well

^yeah that's exactly what i do. But i do mostly meth so i don't forget to push the blood back in. I could imagine spraying it all over if i did smack. Bacause i do very, very rarely heroin and it gets sooo fucked up everytime..

no the back of your knee actually has quite a large easy to hit vein. It's like on the inner corner.

Is easy to hit yourself or do you need someone to do it for you. I'm asking this because never let anyone shoot me, it gets me paranoid and if something goes wrong I can't blame anyone but myself.

you can definetly do it yourself. I found it even easier than the arm.

I've never done it. It's really hard for me to even shoot in the first place. I just usually shoot and judge if I'm in the vein. i can't hardly even pull back. maybe I'm not holding the syringe right? I'm still really knew to shooting (3rd time last night) and i hold the syringe almost like you would a pencil, and then try to hold it between my first and middle finger and pull (push) the plunger up with my thumb. it's so hard to push up that i end up pulling out of the vein... maybe the syringe I'm using?

your doing it wrong, alcohol. you need to get:

thumb and pinky holding barrel of the needle, solid grip in order to push it in

middle finger and point finger together to grib and raise/depress the plunger

dont use the thumb, thats only for hollywood fools

also yes i have jacked back before, i did it just as a sort of self assurance that i absolutely got all of the shot in the vein. but when i found out it wasnt healthy, i stopped.

yea when you get a good shot of anything that ill leaveyou almost unconsious 20sec after the plunger is down put down the needle ,i sprayed blood everywhere on the walls the white cat(and the grey cat) stabbed myself in the thigh from my hand just dropping from nodding ]

dropped the damn thing and it stick in my foot yea

I tell you what though.... the trill of seeing that cloud of blood swirl and plume into the syringe; mixing with the dope is as exhilarating as the rush.

Dude, no, I don't do that. I don't know anyone that does either... I don't particualrly enjoy the whole needle experiance, but it's a nice system of delivery, so I deal. But I wouldn't take it to any kind of fascination like that

well alot of artist are strange like that ,not all but i have heard some mix there sweat ,urine,and other fluids so why would blood be such a shocker?

wouldnt that make the price of the piece go up ....if the famous painters blood was found to be secretly in the painting ...i dunno guess it is weird
