IV users: Do you do washbacks after a shot?

I almost always do. I know it's not good for veins and the benefit is virtuallu zero. I guess it's just part of IVing ritual...

At least some of you must seen someone doing it. This habit cannot exist in my country only.

Lol Yeah, alot of users love the needle as MUCH as the drug itself...............
 
I used to do that too. I guess the idea was that you were rinsing the last little bit of dope out of the fit. I know thats stupid now but I can't think of anyother reason to do it. It didn't add to the rush. There is no benifit at all.

Yeah that's the idea. To get out the last bit of the drug. It's stupid 'cause there's virtually no benefit at all.

i'm shooting abit left from the crook of my arm and a bit upwards as well. you realize it if you can see i've bent my fist down in the pic.

Wow I would have thought that alot more junkys would do this. Around here people call it "jacking off". And yeah I do it most of the time.
 
are you basically just pushing the shot into your arm them pulling more blood back into the rig then pushing back in?

uh if so thats weird ,there would be so little dope left that its pointless but i can see the mental factor
 
I used to do this when I IV'd. I just did it because thats how I learned to shoot up, so i never thought it was strange.

It does help you know if you made the entire shot and that you didn't slip out of the vein mid-shot. But I suppose the rush would let you know if you made it or not. It's pretty much pointless though, but it became part of the routine, so i never thought anything of it.
