I have been on suboxone for the past 4 months or so continuously. i have been on it before, on and off, in the past, but this is my most recent stint. anyways, i have been reading about how some people IV their suboxone and do not experience precipitated WD from the nalaxone.
Being extremely bored and intruiged sometimes leads to insane things....but i digress..
I took 1 8mg pill, crushed it up, drew up 1cc of water and mixed the two till the mixture was in solution. i dropped in a fairly large piece of cottn and started to draw up. i found it hard at first since the cotton kept clogging, so i added .3 cc's more of water and this helped to make it easier to draw up.
I draw up till the syringe if totally full, leaving a small bit of residue at the bottom of the shot glass. at this point the mix was pretty dark orange.. i then squirted the solution in the syringe into another shot glass to filter it a second time.
After the 2nd cotton filter it became a little less orange and easier to work with. it was at this point when i added .01 mg of cloniidne to the shot.
the clonidine pill dissolved totally leaving a considerable amount of residue in the bottom of the glass.
After a third and total filter, i was left with a fairly orange colered solution that was sweet to the taste.
after sterilizing the area i injected into a nice vein in my forearm. the mix felt fine going in and did no produce much iritation around the site except for a small bump.
Effects:
I was surprised at the lack of effect. i defineatly felt something come over me. it was a very faint rush, not all that enjoyable. i think the clonidine made it more pleasureable. I could feel that sudden BP drop like i do when i take it orally. I have read on BL before about users adding clonidne to a shot of heroin or other opiate to increase the effect.
I have had buprenex IV before in high doses and was pleased with the results. This however, wasnt as nice. I dont know if all the filtering made me lose some of the bupe or what, but i didnt really feel much except for a more warm relaxing state. hardly any euphoria.
Considering how bad IVing pills (especially suboxone) is, and the fact this didnt really have much affect. i would recomend against it.
I also wholely recomend NOT shooting pills. Even with a micron filter you are still running a risk of foreign particulates.
So all in all, NO it didnt send me into WD. I did feel a little sweaty for a while but i wouldnt call that WD. And no, i wouldnt do it again. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
EDIT: hmmmm, its been about 2 hours since my initial inecjtion and i do feel a nice nod. its not too hard to keep my eyes open, but will nod if i dont try and keep them up. i think it might have somethignt to do with the clonidine tho....not bad.
