Someone please help! I have a prescription for 45 2mg Dilaudids and its the third day i have them and I've already snorted 20. I've never IV'd and I decided to try it. I was using my friend's bathroom, which isn't very clean, to snort some pills and when I tried closing the bottle all the pills spilled all over the bathroom floor mostly right underneath the front of the toilet bowl, some pills even ended up right next to the plunger. Ever since I got the pills I tried to keep them as clean as possible since I planned to inject. I am going to use a micron .22 filter if I do inject. I plan on asking my doctor to write me a prescription for twenty since I'm scared to take them because of the risk of catching some virus but if I cant get them does anyone know if I'll be fine if I use a .22 wheel filter? I'm very willing to IV but I don't want to jeopardize my health by injecting pills that were on a bathroom floor, although I know IVing is not the best thing for ones health. Please share all that you may know about this matter. Thanks
 
First and foremost, I would recommend not starting to inject at all. Most IV users started out like you, very cautious of their use: rotating sites, using each needle once, using antibiotic ointment, and all that kind of stuff. Many end up using dirty cigarette filters off the streets for a filter, using the same rig for a month, using their saliva for water, or swabbing up spilled dope water off a bathroom floor.

If you do not want to jeopardize your health--physically and mentally in all aspects of your life--do not start injecting.

Personally, as a junkie, if a piece of tar fell on the floor of a public restroom, I would not hesitate to pick it up and put it in my spoon. I've scrounged the floor of my car for pieces of tar before. Is this where you want to end up?
 
I'm sure that, using a wheel filter, you'll be fine, whether or not the pills fell. Most IV users, myself included, wouldn't even take the precaution of using a wheel filter at all.

Have you IVed dilaudid before? Are you going to shoot them for a high or for pain control? If the latter, you'd be better off snorting or plugging them due to the longer duration. You can slam them if you're trying to get high, but keep in mind that the high is only going to last about 30 seconds before the feeling of "why did I just waste drugs and money?" sets in.
 
IME IV h'morph lasts 1 hour. You could wash the pills a little, just getting the coating off.
 
I've shot up dope using a used cigaretted filter. This isnt a road you want to be going down. I personally think you shouldn't inject at all. If you are an addict, then you will find that once you inject, there is no other way. But I assume you're going to whether we say it or not, so my answer is yes, you will be fine.
