IV morphine syrup

Hi folks,
I've studied site for 2 hours and still can't just 'post' so I have to hit 'reply.
Question: How would someone IV a dose of liquid morphine that is obviously cut with a sweet syrup? It's strength is 5 ml per 1 mg. I look forward to a reply! Thanks.

IV morphine is one of the most blissfully orgasmic feelings you can feel on earth. It's like touching God and seeing heaven.
If morphine isn't worth IV'ing, then nothing is.

Just get the fast release white morphines and liquify it to completion, cotton, new syringe, alcohol wipes and waallaa!

Don't IV morphine syrup. The sugar alone is terrible for your veins and extremely irritant. I don't know if there is a way to easily extract it (CWE won't work as sugar is soluble too) but unless you can, then you absolutely can't IV this, sorry.

If you are IVing morphine pills as the poster above suggests you need to be aware that this is also dangerous; it is essential that you use a micron filter not a cotton to prevent fillers/binders from entering your lungs and causing pneumoconiosis, and never heat pills. New syringe etc should be mandatory for every IV injection.

To anyone saying how wonderful IV morphine is, please remember this is a harm reduction forum - that may be a fact but the OP does not have a safe preparation of morphine to IV so posts like that could be misinterpreted as encouraging them to shoot their morphine syrup.
